Just wanted to say â Iâm big on seafood, Iâm mean big I love seafood and I havenât been able to find a good spot in a while cause many have fell completely off!!! But when I found out about Wild Crab Boil yesterday & it so close to me, I had to check them out. Not to mention yesterday was their first day opening âŠ. They were closing at 9:30 and I pulled up at 9:12 â they still took my order with no problem, and I really appreciated that.
Now letâs talk about the food⊠FIRE. The sauce was perfect â not too garlicky, not too heavy, just right. Everything was fresh: shrimp, mussels, potatoes, corn â all of it. You could taste the quality. I started off with a small order just to try them out, but now I know Iâll definitely be back for the crab legs next.
The only thing I didnât care for was the sausage. It gave more spaghetti vibes, and I feel like it didnât match the seafood boil flavor â they could definitely upgrade that part. But aside from that, the rest of the food? On point.
If youâre a seafood lover like me and in the Glendale Heights area, give Wild Crab Boil a try. They stayed open, showed love, and delivered đ„ food. Iâll be back...
Read moreWe really wanted to like this place. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the first bite of shrimp with the sauce was very good and got us excited for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly.
The pricing just doesnât feel justified. The lobster was extremely tough, and parts of it were inedible, surprising, especially at $33.99 per 8oz lobster tail. I initially thought it was $33.99 per pound and was shocked when the bill showed that price was per tail. The market price for lobster certainly doesnât warrant $68/lb for something of that quality.
We were also charged $1.50 for a single 1.5-inch piece of sausage and $1.25 for two tiny potatoes, barely the size of golf balls. The Pepsi was completely flat, I even joked that I hoped it wasnât a sign of how the meal would go. Sadly, it was.
In total, the meal cost $150 for two, and it just didnât live up to that value. I know theyâre new, and I hope they work...
Read moreWe were the first customer on a saturday afternoon. Place was empty, the food was outstanding!! Loved that we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We had two of combo A bcs we wanted two different sauces. The crazy hot is not crazy imo. Crab du jour sauce was hotter, so hot they make your mouth burns. But then again, I think it's for the best bcs you can end up with burning hot hands at the end even if you wore gloves. haha I think you feed 2-3 people for one combo A. They have rice, takoyaki, and some other asian appetizers. Chicken tenders with basket of fries are quite filling, for a kid. Good value of money we spent, and it was well worth it. Ice cream was yummy too. Definitely will come...
