Bitz-ee Mama's — Restaurant in Glendale

First off when I came in the service was great nothing to complain about there! And that is the only reason this place gets two stars instead of just one. They were fast and attentive, also very nice. However the food was mediocre at best! At my table we ordered multiple different dishes to try, so I had a little of everything but I was not impressed. We were very disappointed in the menudo especially! Hardly any meat at all and very bland wasn't sure what I was looking at at first. I did not want to take the leftovers home, and I always do, but the servicer was super nice and brought me a to-go container. I felt so bad that I ended up taking it, threw it out upon getting home. Food was not expensive but definitely not worth the price. But the worst part of my whole experience was the Bathroom! Not exactly clean, but when I went to flush I was sprayed by the toilet! Water shot out of the handle part! On my face! My head and my chest! Had to spend time scrubbing myself in the sink! Needless to say it was gross and ruined my whole day. I was so embarrassed and upset I couldn't bring myself to say anything about it I just left! Better places for food than this place. RUDE DISCOURTEOUS BEHAVIOR FROM ALL THE WAITRESSES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. IT WAS AN UNFRIENDLY EVIL PLACE TO TAKE MY FAMILY. WE WAITED 45 MINS TO AN HOUR TO BE SEATED. IT WASNT EVEN THAT BUSY. TABLES WERE OPEN. ONCE WE GOT OUR TABLE IT TOOK ANOTHER 52 MINS TO JUST GET OUR FOOD. NOT ONLY THAT BUT ANOTHER 25 MINS TO GET THE CHECK FROM WHEN THEY TOOK THE DISHES FROM OUR TABLE. FROM THE TIME WE ENTERED THE RESTAURANT THE WAITRESS (THE ONE WITH LONG WHITE HAIR) WAS JUST EVIL TOWARDS MY FAMILY. SHE ASKED MY HUSBAND WHY HE WAS SO AGGRESSIVE, WHICH HE WASNT AT ALL. ALL HE DID WAS JUST DEFEND HIS 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FROM SOMETHING THE WAITRESS BLAMED HER FOR. WE POLITELY TOLD HER IT WASN'T HIS DAUGHTER THAT KNOCKED DOWN THE MAGAZINES. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH DISTASTEFUL SERVICE FROM A RESTAURANT.

Sadly this place has gone downhill. We were there right before 11am. We asked if lunch was available yet. (Couldn't remember what time it started, we hadn't been there in a long while) The waitress snapped at us and said no it's at 11 always has been. Tried to order Dr Pepper and she again snapped at us saying we haven't had Dr Pepper in 3 years. So I settled for a 2.50 apple juice (thinking it would come in a big cup) nope. It was a child size and no refills. My food was not good. French toast was extremely soggy and tasteless. 5.50 wasted. Home fries were ok. Just had to add my own seasoning. Hubs liked his Hobo skillet but it had an over abundance of potatoes. We used to eat here alot (lunch menu is excellent!). But now we have decided to never go back. The waitress sealed the deal on that. She was so rude, disrespectful and non attentive. Not sure if she was having a bad morning but when it comes to your customers ya gotta change the attitude! I know this as I am a former waitress. We predict Bitzees will no longer be around in a year....
