Amazing toasted subs and outstanding service. I'd heard about Cheba Hut from some friends but I've never been a fan of toasted subs. Well I had not had Cheba Hut's toasted subs! The shop is tucked away in a strip of shops next to a 7-11. We walked in the middle of lunch time on a Saturday. It wasn't too busy. We ordered a La Canna (Italian) and a Kush (BLT), grabbed a couple of bags of chips, fountain soda. We couldn't pass up the huge cereal treat bars either. Snagged a rice krispie treat with reeses puffs mixed as well as a fruity pebbles one. The treat bars are nice and soft too so you know they are fresh. We sat down to wait for our subs but they were out before we had our drink cups filled. They are freshly made. The bread is lightly toasted so it's not hard and chewy. Both subs had a good amount of meats on them and the seasoning is fantastic. They come in 3 sizes: nug 4", pinner 8", and blunt 12". We both ordered the pinner and couldn't finish. I noticed a lot of to go orders heading out the door. Cheba Hut offers online and call ahead ordering. And if you haven't already noticed the shop and menu has a cannabis theme to it. My only complaint.... that the closest one is 15 miles from my house!

This was my first time at Cheba Hut, I was excited because I've heard good things about it, but I wasn't really impressed. I will say the employee I talked to that took my order was really nice and super helpful, didn't seem annoyed with my questions. She was chill. Environment wise, it is just crowded, it's a small location so if it's busy, you probably wouldn't find a seat to dine in. We took ours to the park down the road to enjoy. I got the sub called The Kind which was turkey, bacon, mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, also onion but I asked for no onion. There was hardly any meat on there and the bacon wasn't fresh, you can tell they use precooked bacon. The taste overall was meh. I got the 12 inch, only ate half and gave the rest to my boyfriend because I got tired of it. And if anyone knows me, i am a foodie and love to eat, but i just couldnt finish it. The item I did eat all of was the garlic cheesy bread. Nothing special about it, it was just normal but yummy. My son really liked his sandwich, he got the Cali Mist, my boyfriend enjoyed his sandwich but he agreed it's not worth the price. Almost 20 dollars for his sandwich! Overall, too expensive for what it is.

Bruh I feel cheated. I knew of the hut but never been to the hut. We was greeted by Chuckie. Nice dude. There was so many choices. Had to step aside and read the big board to make the most informed decision. Still ended up going with Chuckie's originally recommendation. Had the Moab. Meatballs with jalapeno cream cheese bacon no veggies. On the garlic bread. It was so F-ing good. It was perfectly toasted the bread has an amazing crunch. The flavors complimented it perfectly. The spice isn't to much it's mellowed by the cream cheese. My bro had the T-Rex basically a club on steroids and add pepperoni. It's legit AF. Other bro had the Jamaican Red. It's spicy chicken green peppers, jalapenos, black olives and cheddar. We added the veggies to both subs. The chicken is tender and is super flavorful just the right amount of spice with the other flavors. Will be back to get toasted again!

I heard of Cheba Hut from my phone (sandwich shops near me) and I'm glad. I could tell from the reviews that this was a stoner sub shop, but that only makes this place more interesting and ultimately better than your average sub shop. The service is really top notch. Everyone is friendly and truly seem to enjoy their jobs. The menu is a bit overwhelming if you are a first time customer. Rather than go through the entire menu, I asked if I could just get a ham and cheese with jalapenos. The cashier showed me a chicken sub that was supposed to be spicy, so I ordered that substituting ham and cheese for the chicken. The preparation took a bit longer than I expected, but it was brought to my table by a very friendly young woman. After a couple of bites, I thought I was given the wrong sandwich. I searched, but found no cheese nor jalapenos. I got the server's attention and explained my issue. She looked at my sandwich and pointed at something and said, "Here's the cheese and the jalapenos are below. That's how we make them." She suggested bringing me more jalapenos on the side. I agreed, although I never found (nor tasted) the cheese. Once I added the jalapenos, I was still unable to taste them because they were super mild. Despite the lack of cheese and bland jalapenos, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. The jalapeno chips were actually unbroken and tasty. My Dr. Pepper was refillable and refreshing. People continually checked on me, which I truly appreciated. They presented plenty of dessert choices (for the munchies?). I chose a macadamia cookie, which was very good, not dry, and generous with nuts. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and the tremendous service. If not for the mix up with my ingredients, this place would have received five stars. I still highly...

Me and my sister are from Tucson and came for the day and thought we’d order Cheba hut for dinner to go. It’s one of our fave spots in Tucson (the vibes, the food, the workers). Not sure if everyone here was having a bad day yesterday when I went in, but I never understood treating a customer rude especially when we were nothing but respectful & nice. We walked up to the wrong counter, (we had no idea, from Tucson) and told the guy working we had an online order, he legit just pointed to the other counter and said nothing. Upon walking up he didn’t greet us, or ask what we needed, just pointed, idk maybe he was mute? But I did see him talking to his employees with no problem. Then we finally got to the right counter, all was good there, got our food and left. Drove away and thank god checked the bag before hitting freeway cause the chips I ordered were not in bag. I get it mistakes happen all the time, I worked fast food for years, I know how it can be when it’s busy sometimes we forget things. So I pulled back up, told the lady they forgot my chips and asked if I could grab them. She gave me the rudest look and said “well it’s because you didn’t specify which chips you wanted on your order”. When making my online order I clearly remember clicking the pickle chips, and it even said it on my receipt which I wish I didn’t throw away. But long story short, don’t have people working who don’t have simple customer service skills. Like speaking to people and greeting them, and not being rude to someone when they tell you, you forgot to add their chips in their order. THE FOOD WAS BOMB THOUGH! I mean I will give them their credit there, it was delicious!!! But I definitely would never return to...

Came to try it out for the first time because of the hype ive heard of the spot. Unfortunately left really disappointed :( I had made an online order to dash in quick and take home to enjoy. I walked in to ask for help on the app because I couldn’t find the order I just placed and was rushed over to the mobile pickup section. Which I sat there for about 25 mins before being attended. When I got to speak with someone I was told that the mobile order system is new in store and that they didn’t know how the app works. I gave them the name of my order and they had to print out the receipt because they didn’t know where it was at along the line. I don’t know who Jasmine is but it seemed to be that she was the only one with sense in the crew from what I could hear. She would ask for them to print and label sandwich’s which they were not doing and a couple other request which would just pass right over their heads. If I’m not wrong I also heard someone ask her to calm down which is crazy to me as a customer seeing everything going on in store. 20 mins after they had printed my receipt I received my food. Which taste wise was delicious! But presentation was completely horrible on all three subs. They looked rushed and everything was thrown in very sloppy like. 2 out of 3 drinks were watered down with no ice because they were sitting in the mobile order section since I had gotten there. Place was packed with mobile orders and has a very small waiting area. Really disappointed that my fist experience didn’t live up to...
