Taylor (the supervisor who's running the floor) asked me what my name was and when I told her what my name was she scoffed at me
It's really unfortunate that I never feel welcomed when I come to the Starbucks. not this time but the time before that one partner welcome to me into the store and said hello and welcome to me in and I asked who it was I was like who did that who did that I was like was it you who said that and she said yes and I said you are the first person to do that out of the last eight times I have been onhere so out of the last nine times I've been there I've only been welcomed once and now I've been scoffed at... another partner today was a very condescending and very upset with me asking the question of is there an assistant manager at this location or just a store manager didn't know that was such a harmful question to ask couldn't assume it would be I couldn't see how it could be and .....I've just had an overall unwelcome reaction from the vast majority of the partners at this location it's quite unfortunate because I love this particular little plaza shopping corner strip mall whatever you'd like to refer to the South West corners of olive and 59th avenue... I love it here I love the 7-Eleven I love the cheba hut I love the smoke shop... NOT Luigi's the other one in the corner next to the MMJ doctor.... and it's so sad to see such a well-known chain that is generally known for what they like to refer to as the Starbucks experience and you know quote customer connections being so impersonal and even rude uninviting and antagonistic towards its customers who it serves which is my neighborhood my community 59th Ave and Olive in the beautiful city of Glendale so I would like to see the store be kinder to all who enter not just some who enter the store but everyone who enters the store because everyone should be welcome in this establishment and should be greeted kindly not spoken to condescendingly or antagonistically.
I'm sure my next visit this will change I hope to see this improve I would like to see the partners at this location treating everyone with kindness and respect I would like to see them treating everyone with dignity and care. I would like to see the partners at this store serve the beautiful community of 59th Ave and Olive in the beautiful city of Glendale enthusiastically professionally and with a genuine and sincere desire to be helpful to...
Read moreFrom 8:25am-9:01am I was getting my 1 basic iced DRINK! RETRAIN employees! Baristas try to LOOK HAPPY! CHECK EXP DATES OF MILKS! Mine made me sick! Starbies Management needs to retrain the baristas again! Two were not friendly, looked irritated to be at work and didn't smile at all. It hurt me to watch them here. No my usual store I frequent but today confirmed I will not be going back. I was in the drive thru at 8:25am, 4 cars ahead of me to place an order at the speaker. It was my turn at the speaker at 8:38am, I finally paid for my order 5 min after that. Iced venti wht mocha, oat milk w/whip and light ice. SIMPLE. Payment was scanned as I watched my drink sit at the window for 2 minutes while the window barista did everything else except hand me my drink. I finally got it and concluded my drive thru visit at 8:46am. I routed out of the parking lot and drove over the intersection to finally taste my drink- IT WAS SOUR! I mixed it and tried again- MY STOMACH TURNED. For a $7.88 drink, I made a U-turn and went back, parked, went inside to the mobile order/hand out bar where a male barista with blonde/brown curly hair and glasses was at the espresso machine and stood there looking at him until I was noticed- that didnt happen so I said excuse me and held up my drink and said "can you remake this please, its very sour"- He said no words to me as he grabbed my cup, took the sticker off and said- you can throw that. I stood there and waited for my drink. He passed out 2 other drinks as I waited for my remake. He placed the drink on the bar and said here you go and that was it. No sorry, not checking the oat milks to see if they were expired NOTHING! I did not throw my expired drink away because the barista is to do that. I made it back in my car at 9:01...From 8:25am-9:01am I was getting my 1 basic DRINK! I am a Vet barista with years experience from 10 years ago so I know the standards of Starbucks' customer service, I know the mission and values along with the Starbucks experience. THIS WAS NOT IT TEAM! They are lucky I wasnt a mystery customer to rate them because they would not have a good rating. I will be reporting this store to...
Read moreI ordered four drinks none of them were made correctly they put the wrong name on my drinks as well I understand if something spelled incorrectly but when I was looking for my order I was like oh wait that's the wrong name sorry and they said oh we put the wrong name on there and then they laughed at me I left them a $20 tip that time. This isn't even the worst experience that I've had at this location it's a joke that the stores word is inclusion and that's the store's mission I walked in and a guy/girl named kale give me a dirty look got on her or his phone kept looking at me typing into their phone giving me a dirty look continuing typing into their phone and then continued giving me a dirty look. When I went through drive-thru and tried to talk to the lady at front named belith, she turned away from me wouldn't talk to me wouldn't give me my total wouldn't give me my receipt I had to beg for a receipt and I said I would like to leave a tip and she said that she didn't want to take my tip and that she didn't want to put the tip jar out and that she didn't really like working there... And the only reason that I know these two baristas names is because no one else wears their name tags at the store probably so that nobody complains about them. I know that there's somebody there not named Terra in the morning because she says good morning this is terra what can I get started for you and anytime I try and give her my order she tries to rush me and basically wants me to shut up. also I've heard multiple of the baristas make negative comments about the neighborhood the people that live in the neighborhood the customers that come there and the homeless people in the area. so please do not say that the stores word is inclusion when all I have to received is exclusion judgment rude comments rude looks mistreatment I've witnessed mistreatment to other customers. I can make coffee at home so can everyone else don't brag about the Starbucks experience if you...
