EVERY TIME AND I MEAN EVERYYYTIME I come to the Glendale location I have to wait 15-20 minutes to receive my food which is the only location that takes that long and the food is never fresh and satisfying. Today I arrived at 10:08am my order was taking at 10:20am I ordered a chicken sandwich and large hi-c. Instead of the employee informing me that there would be a wait he said nothing and allowed me to drive up even though I was already questioning him about the long wait and the hold up. I get to the window and after 3 minutes they come ask me to move up so they can serve others as if they werenāt already walking past me serving the cars behind me. So of course Iām frustrated 21 minutes later and now Iām late for an appt that I initially was on time for. I ask why do I have to move up and I have already been waiting so long they tell me because I ordered lunch during breakfast (mind u all I ordered was a sandwich meaning all they had to do is put them meat on a bun instead of a biscuit I do it all the time during breakfast). The manager decides to come get smart with me and threaten to call the police on me because I didnāt move up after hearing another associate tell her my sandwich was ready and instead of handing me my order she continued to argue with me as if she wanted to prove a point vS providing good customer service. So I asked for a refund and she had no problem giving it to me which means a large drink and sandwich was now wasted and so was 30 minutes of my time and still had to go to my appt with no food. I then asked for corporate number and the manager told me she didnāt have it I had to get it off the internet. Such a joke but I will be calling corporate back on Monday and recording all interactions at that location from this point forward. If u have time find a different location to serve you because this one shouldnāt even be an option itās always a problem or error with my order and never a āMy Pleasureā attitude like the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis franchise feels like a failed prototype. It's transparently meant to draw customers from around the city via the interstate beside it. The franchise has sacrificed its entire design to that project, which has led to a miserable experience for the customers, and, I can only assume, the workers, who must either stand outside in idiotic movable plastic booths, or work inside a stifling, windowless box. I would love to see the employees unionize.
There is no indoor seating; you can only order takeout or delivery. There is no walk up window, so you must go through the drive through. You can order online, but doing so is absolutely pointless, as there is only one line to order. So we all get to sit in line for 20+ minutes, spewing emissions, when we could be inside the store or walking/biking home with the food.
There are not enough employees to take orders, even though a sizable number of customers must order online. Only some of the workers who take your order are equipped to take payment, so there's a whole other group of workers who just take payment - or confirm that you ordered online.
Orders are sometimes wrong at the end of this process, but I can't even blame the employees, who have to deal with delivery, online, and drive through orders through one system.
Chick-fil-a's food is good when the order is right, and when I get it when it's still warm. But this franchise model is completely broken, and the space would be infinitely better used as a walkable...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe location of the Glendale Chick Fil A is really hard to drive through tbh because many people drive like maniacs on Port Washington Rd. The food is great though, itās fast to get through the drive thru but I heavily advise not to get a big order because they rarely get it right. They either forget the sauce you ask for, give you an extra sandwich for no reason or forget a food item that costed 10+ dollars. I canāt go wrong with Chick Fil A, and I live very close to the Glendale location which is super convenient, but I would rather drive out to Brookfield than go to this location. The food I do get never fails to impress me though. I especially love the honey mustard, but they failed to remember to put it in the bag in my most recent order. Usually the people are friendly and fast, but my most recent experience proves otherwise. They were pretty passive aggressive when asking for the name of my order (I ordered online), the only person that was really nice was the kind young man who gave me my food. I really love that this place is fast, but quality is more important and they often screw something up if you have a relatively large order (for a family of 3-5). Very disappointed with my most recent experience, but I canāt go wrong with picking up something...
