I would give it ZERO stars tonight if Google would let me. I ordered food in the drive thru at 9:42pm, paid at 9:44pm and was asked to pull into a spot to wait. So 28 minutes later at 10:12pm my food was brought out to my car. I tried calling inside 3 times but it was after 10pm and they close at 10pm so they were no longer answering the phone and their were 2 other cars in the line waiting on food so couldn't pull back up to the window.
We were not offered a complimentary item but the nice young lady did say sorry for the wait. So I asked what was the extremely long wait due to and she said because their computers went down. I was thinking what does a computer have to do with cooking the food but just said ok and thank you and left it at that.
Check my food, the order was right, but the cheese steak was just barely warm and the fries cold. I get home and we open up the turkey and cheese sub and the bread is now soggy and falling apart because the mayo sat on the bread too long.
So I assumed our food had been done and sitting for probably over 10 minutes and then they realized it and ran the food out.
Very disappointed to receive such bad service and then to think I was probably lied for the cause of the wait.
I still love Cousins Subs food, but will probably never go back to the location on Port Washington RD...
Read moreListen, please... If a customer is placing a pickup order (or for the delivery drivers too), would you STOP waiting until the customer arrives to make the fries or curds? The whole damn point of ordering ahead is so the food is ready when we arrive to pick it up. I understand that you are trying to "help" by making sure the food is hot, but if that was my main concern, I'd be dining in. If my fries get cold because I took too long to arrive, that's no one's fault but my own, and I expect that if I'm delayed - but if YOU delay me when I just want to get in and out, then I'm going to be angry. So just make ALL of the damn food as soon as the order comes in please. The next time my order isn't ready after pre-ordering 20 minutes ahead, I'm cancelling.
Also, lunch rush is every single day. Y'all need to be better prepared. If your current employees can't keep pace, then hire more...and if you're busy enough to need them, then you're making enough money to pay well enough to attract good employees in a difficulty hiring market, so don't give us the "no one wants to work" excuse - keep raising that pay until you get the right people.
Last but not least, get rid of that garbage spring mix and bring the spinach back...and stop being so stingy on the cheese - you're supposed to be better than Subway,...
Read moreSame old, same old.. Had hoped since the remodel and"upgrade" of this store service would improve as well. Sadly disappointed. First visit in well over 2 years. Ordered and paid for online. Went to pick up beyond the 15 minute window given. Order had not been started when I got to the window. Reconfirmed order with fellow at window. 10 minutes later, rec'd and drove home (foolishly NOT checking the contents). Found that neither sandwich was what was ordered. On top of this, I had ordered a "premium" sandwich, which cost a fair amount more than either one of those we actually got! So, bottom line: paid extra for items we didn't want/order, plus had to wait beyond the time stated to receive wrong order! As my wife and I are disabled, and it was late in the evening, couldn't find the energy to go through the process of returning to the store, waiting for who knows how long, etc. I suppose I shouldn't complain, as we wound up eating some of the sandwiches we got. But: this is exactly why we haven't patronized this Cousins in so long. It's happened several times previously. Be sure to TRIPLE...
