Gyro Palace — Restaurant in Glendale

This has been our go-to Gyro place for years. The restaurant is always clean, the service always very fast, and the gyros served HUGE and stuffed with fresh ingredients. I always get the Gyro Supreme Sandwich, which comes with feta cheese, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and sliced peperoncino. The gyro meat is always well seasoned, sliced perfectly and extremely tender. The generous amount of vegetables are served underneath the meat instead of on top, which helps keep them from falling out while you're eating. However, because of the sheer size of the sandwich, you're likely to lose a few. The feta cheese is served in large cubes instead of crumbled, and the tzatziki sauce is thick and rich, coming in a nice sized container. There is a reason Gyro Palace has been a part of Glendale for decades, and it's worth seeing why...

Disgusting, not enough meat like the woman said we would get. They put the got meat on top of fries and the salad. Who wants a hot and soggy salad not including soggy fries. You don't put that many chopped cucumbers on top of the meat or any at all. Salad was aweful including the dressing. All it consisted of was oil and some nasty tasting of vinegar in the dressing. The cucumber sauce was even worse.Not even worth spending a dollar there. They need new cooks or go to Golden Gyros on 64th Lincoln in West Allis to get some gyro cooking tips. Y'all ought to be ashamed of how you cook. Oh and to top it off they use paper towels from the bathroom for napjibs. So gross. Live so close to there but will be going back to Golden Gyros...

I ordered 3 gyros sandwiches, the wait was pretty long. I was the second in line and yet people that ordered 4 and 5 places behind me recieved their orders before me and the couple in front of us. While waiting 2 customers were back in line to complain about orders. Our number was finally called picked it up and drove to the park to enjoy the 3 gyros,, but only had 2 in the bag . I checked the receipt it wasn't even the right number. The guy called out my number but this bags number wasn't even close to my number. I guess that's why we were waiting so long, I'm not sure if the cashier did this on purpose but calling out 1106 when a receipt has 1117 on it appears to be purposeful. So we got screwed...
