I recently watched a America's Test Kitchen supermarket white bread taste test video and I felt sorry for the tasters because they didn't have white bread from Pouri Bakery. I've eaten a lot of white breads from all over the world, and this one - THIS ONE - is my absolute favorite. The crust is nicely browned and the interior is soft, but not gummy or squishy. It stands up to moist tomato sandwiches like the pro that it is. Unlike many American white breads, it's not sweet - and that's a good thing; who wants to eat a chicken salad sandwich on sugary, sweet bread - no one. Since there are no preservatives, if you have managed not to eat it all, it makes great, fresh breadcrumbs and croutons to die for.
