This is really a motel, not a hotel. All the doors face outward, toward the very small parking lot. ||I picked this place for the price and the distance from where my activity was happening, and for those reasons it was adequate. ||What I liked:|--I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the sleeping area, as it was much bigger than I expected, with plenty of room to move around even with a King size bed. |--The furnishings are pretty modern, with soft-close doors and drawers in the desk/dresser/closet. |--I liked having the ability to turn the room light on and off from multiple locations (each side of the bed in addition to right inside the door). |--There were several power outlets available.|--The bathroom had a shower with two heads (one overhead, rain-style, and one handheld). It was a bit small, but perfectly acceptable. The hair dryer was better than most usual hotel hair dryers.|--The air conditioning was controlled from a modern thermostat and cooled the room well (almost too well!).|--Mini refrigerator and microwave (even though I didn't use either one).||What was less than stellar:|--The bed. While the mattress itself was pretty comfortable, the pillow situation was abysmal. Three pillows, all different thicknesses, and none of them super supportive or comfortable. I think if I had gone with my original intent to bring my own pillow with me, it would have been much better. The sheets and blankets were pretty standard.|--The television. Having a large flat screen tv is great, but it's useless if you can't figure out how to turn it on or change the channels. They supplied two remote controls and neither of them worked properly. I didn't fuss too much about it because I was only staying one night.|--The NOISE. In most places, you might complain about thin walls, but my main complaint was a thin CEILING. I am not sure what kind of bowling the people directly above me were doing, but it sounded like elephants. The room I was in was right by a stairway, and you could definitely hear everything going on outside the room. |--The lobby. Although I didn't spend much time here (only for check-in and check-out), it looked like it might be a nice place to congregate if you planned on staying longer than one night - it has a place to get coffee and a sitting area with a television. However, the front desk area is very echoey and it's hard to hear anything the front desk clerk says from behind the plexiglass barrier. I appreciate the appearance of distancing and safety, but when it impacts the guests' ability to hear what you're saying, it's time to take it down and mask up or speak more clearly!||I guess I would stay here again if I needed the proximity and the price was right, but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice. Not an awful experience, but I've had much better at lower...
Read moreBED BUGS & GM PUT ROOM BACK ONLINE THE SAME DAY AFTER WE ASKED TO BE CHECKED OUT Beware of this property woke up to BED BUG BITES. Woke up Wednesday morning itching everywhere: back of thighs, arms, lower back, and especially the neck. Never had bed bugs so looked up details to see if this could be it, since we went to sleep fine and woke up itching. With them being so small we didn’t notice them at first but looked closer and saw bed bugs. When we told the GM he said the maid didn’t report anything and that bed bugs traveled in luggage so maybe we brought them. I travel frequently for work and never had this problem only after staying at this location. We booked through hotels tonight so we were told we would need to contact to them as well. While the GM was on the phone he told hotels tonight he could check us out and if they could put the room IMMEDIATELY BACK ONLINE for the night. I asked about a way to wash our clothes and he said it was a laundry mat down the street. The GM was not helpful in this matter we liked the location and the nice front desk lady but we had no choice but to leave. The GM only offered to one check us out and refund our money for the two remaining nights we hadn’t stayed or two move us to another room right next door. Unhappy with the cleanliness of this property. For having to pay extra to wash all our clothes plus wasting time from our vacation it is not...

Until my husband and I left the hotel and I check my account and it says they have charged me $206 I called them and spoke to the manager he was kind of getting irritated about me asking why I was being charged at first I thought it was becuase the morning of check out they called about a leak. So I told him if it was becuae of that I didn’t think it was fair. He then proceeded to say I should call Expedia but I had taken screen shots of when Expedia took out the money the first time and how the money on the new transaction had shown up and he still said he didn’t see a charge. I called Expedia they said the same thing except they wanted to see the sceeen shots which I emailed them. I called my bank since neither of them knew and canceled my card and told them about the fraudulent charge. I then called the manager of the hotel to find out if he had found out anything new from his ITIN people he then got irritarted and said I told you I would call you back when I had information we have 9 hotels and they are busy I left them a voicemail! I said there is no reason for You to get mad. He then said well I already told you I’d call you back. I said look sir no need I already contacted my bank thank you.
So over all we...
