Go ahead and try calling them for an order. Have fun not getting through. And then when you finally do get through, go ahead and wait on the phone so you can listen to the restaurant guests because the person who answered the phone set the phone down. This explains why the phone is always busy when you call. If this is a representation of how management runs a business, I can only imagine the way he cares about pest control and employee handwashing after bathroom breaks. Non existent. Pubes in the food Update: I can honestly say yes. This place is run poorly without care to health code. I stopped in to speak to the manager. While still on hold on the cellphone. Host pretends there is no manager. I told him he is full of it. He walks me to the kitchen to speak to the manager who isn't wearing hair covers. Cross contaminating the different dishes. I show him the phone running into 15 minutes of still listening to the restaurant guests eating. He simply says "it must have been the Mexican". All he can say is "we're very busy". Nevermind that I am in the kitchen without hair cover too. Enjoy the...
Read moreI had dinner with two female friends on July 29, 2020. We have all been to Cosmos previously and enjoyed the food. On this occasion, we had dinner while watching the game when the owner of the restaurant, Cosmo, walked out to the patio area completely intoxicated. At one point, he fell out of a chair hitting his head on the ground. After several minutes of him stumbling around,, the chef came out to try and get Cosmo home but, after several minutes, he re-emerged with another glass of wine in hand.
After finishing our drinks and dinner we proceeded to leave when he decided to hug my two female companions. As we walked out, Cosmo followed my friends and attempted to grope them both! It was made clear that his actions were unwelcome and unacceptable.
The staff and chef both apologized for his actions, but they each said this was a regular occurrence. I hesitated in posting a review because of how it could affect the employees there. However, I would not want others to endure what we endured. A horrible experience We will...
Read moreTried this place today for dinner for the first time since I had heard about their paella. They only make it once in a while so reservations are needed. You can always enjoy from a variety of other delicious menu entrees. It was a great experience.
The atmosphere is very open n inviting with both indoor n outdoor seating. The staff is very professional n friendly. Hugo did a great job n provided excellent service.
The paella was amazing, it was being prepared as we walked in. The bread with olive oil and a nice green salad was a pre-cursor to the main meal. The paella was very fresh n tasty with plenty of shrimp, mussles, clams, sausage, chicken, n beef. The sauce n spices were just right.
Their desserts include tiramisu, canolli, chocolate lava cake, creme brulee, n ice cream.
They also have a decent list if wines n beers. I tried a beer from a local brewery in Venice that was surprisingly good.
Give this place a try. It's an Italian Bistro. You will be glad you did. We will be back to try...
