TLDR; charge your phones and laptops fully before arriving (if you come to study/work/meet with others). Extremely limited charging options.
Full Review: This Starbucks would be an absolute gem if not for 1 small but significant design flaw of the interior; the fact that there are only 2 (out of 7!!!) outlets that you can charge your phone or laptop. So imagine you come in. You buy your ridiculously priced $8 drink. Prepare to study/work/rest from your long drive - and your device is on its last few minutes from dying. What do you do? Look for an outlet to plug into.
Of the 7 wall outlets they have around the store/next to tables, 5 are blocked off entirely. They replaced them with “outlet deletes” (so you can’t plug anything in). Not sure if this was to prevent transients from camping out here charging their devices all day or to just discourage people in general from staying too long (major inconvenience to paying customers though). I wish management would just them not to camp here but perhaps it’s safer this way?? Not sure.
It’s a shame because the interior is brightly lit (from all the natural light and big windows). The staff is friendly. It’s not too busy. It’s clean. There is high rise/standing table that’s large enough to seat 10 people (good if you have back issues and need to stand instead of sit). It’s a great place to study/get work done. I guess you’d have to kindly ask someone if you could leave your phone/laptop in their lap while you get a few...
Read moreI received a green thermos cup as a holiday gift which comes with "free coffee", included in the purchase of this thermos for the month of January only. Since this thermos was a gift for christmas with free coffee for the month of January only. I went up to the counter here in Glendora in this location next to home depot. I Walked in, removed the lid off the thermos asked the lady behind the counter for hot coffee. "Alexis" I bieleve was her name was not too happy to have to assist me. As soon as she took my thermos, she set it on the counter next to her and walked away. I was like ," Excuse me! " I still would like to place an order!" I was treated like I was not welcome and the service was definately lacking to say the least. I didn't feel welcome. It is so disiapointing for this kind of treatment considering this thermos cost $64.95 plus tax almost $70.00 which includes the free coffee for the month of January. Who would ever want to purchase this kind of gift for their family and friends in the future if your treated as unwelcome with the mind set that your not a valued customer? I am showered, clean clothes and wore my hair clipped up this is not good service so...
Read moreShowed up to the drive through for our mobile order around 7:15pm, which is 45 mins prior to closing. At 7:30, an associate working outside in the dirvthrough places a single cone behind a random car in line. While we assumed this meant they were trying to close up shop, this was 30 minutes BEFORE their posted closing. However, not a single customer in line was notified of the closer. The associate simply placed a cone and walked inside. Further. The cone did not block off the physical drive through. ONLY AFTER the other cars got into the physical drive through without any escape, arrived at the kiosk, were then informed of the closure, essentially trapping the customer in line with no recourse. They ended up accepting our order since we had a mobile order, however, the end product was horrendous. Latte made with water, instead of milk (or substitute). The orders were rushed and not even close to what we ordered. We will never return to this location. Which is sad considering its a brand new...
