Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Glendora

Walked in at 6:20 pm today, Sunday. The place was empty. The only employee visible was "Mackenzie" at the register. She was pleasantly polite and friendly. She took my To go order and accepted payment as expected. When I went to get my drink the diet Coke was out. I informed Mackenzie and she promptly took care of it. Then the nightmare began. A line of of take out customers started to form at the register, about six or seven customers. One cook appeared and he started rushing around in what appeared to be a panic mode. As the orders started to pile up a second cook appeared and the amateur hour continued. More customers came in. I noticed no less than five customers who had ordered after me pick up their orders. Meanwhile three to go containers that turned out to be my order were sitting on the counter the whole time. When I asked a second cashier (who magically appeared when the "rush" began) she casually shrugged her shoulders and said " Oh sorry the cook forgot to put the ticket up with the food so I didn't know it was ready" When l point out to her that my food is probably cold by now she says "No it's not cold" Whaaaat???? So l wait over twenty minutes and for cold food and this is what I get? Needless to say l won't be back. I'd rather drive a little further to L&L...

Went to my favorite place, but today was not a good day to go. I ordered the seafood mix with grilled fish. About 12 other customers came in after and all got their food and sat down to eat, meanwhile 20 minutes later and I'm asking the girl Brigette that took my order about my order, then Brigette says it's coming and fish takes a little longer, then she gives another person there food. Now problem is I heard her ask the cook about my food after I asked about it and he said he will get it now. I told her to cancel the order and return my money. She got a little attitude and did as asked then tells the cook don't cook the fish after all which indicates he hadn't even started cooking it. It doesn't take 20 minutes to grill fish, and I probably would have waited if the girl had been honest or even tried to apologize or something but nope, she just continued being rude. Another customer asked how long I was waiting and was even surprised when she then was given her large order as I was waiting for the refund. The service is why I only gave 3 stars. The manager of this location should take a look...

'ONO GRINDS!!🤙 This is my second time visiting 'Ono. The name says it all. The food is DELICIOUS! We had the family meal with Katsu Chicken, Teriyaki beef and Kalua pork besides the classic Hawaiian sides of rice and mac salad. It almost felt like being in a Hawaiian potluck in Hilo! The Katsu chicken was cut thinly and super crunchy. That was my favorite. The Kalua pig was moist and the Teriyaki Beef was cut thin and the sauce was sweet and sour with a little punch of spice. The portions were huge. We'll be having that for lunch tomorrow, no doubt! The service was friendly and timely, we took our meal to go and the wait was very short. Will definitely get food there again when I don't have time to cook. Better choice than any burger joint. Only reason I didn't give the last star is becuse the meat was a little fatty but it would've been 4.5 stars if that were an...
