Friendly's — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

Let's get started here I haven't been friendly's in a while I had to run out with my daughter and my son-in-law to pick up supplies for repairing our home so did some of the crew come with us I told him I would treat them to a friendly's dinner! Well let me tell you something our server Marchell blew me . I have not seen a server like this in many years she was really excited to take care of us every time she came back to the table she asked if there's anything else she can do and she said thank you and yes sir and no sir. I told her Marchell you don't have to call me sir every time you come to the table . Okay sir this young lady you can tell that she enjoyed serving the crew when we sat down everything that we ordered was spot on perfect! It was like we were at a five-star restaurant! Her service was quick impeccable. If you could experience how well she took care of us you be writing the same words I am! In my life I have been in some high quality establishments that would cost close to $1,000 just to sit down to have a meal. Marchell emulated that standing; now remember this is friendly's where you get a burger and ice cream! But I'll tell you one thing if there were more Young members of society that had her passion her pleasant smile her intensive in making sure our stay at friendly's was a enjoyable family oriented experience for us today. We all 👍 her attitude and demeanor would have surprised you! The way she performed her job.…. She made us feel like we were the only people in friendly's and she wanted to make sure when we left there we left with a good meal and a smile on her face and a kind word from her was something to experience this young lady must have been brought up in a loving family. You could feel it in every time she said something. To too friendly's this young lady is a treasure she deserves a certificate for her quality work ethics; like she was part owner of the restaurant. I I usually don't compliment our servers or my servers when I am out with friends and family like this and I have been to several establishments that are over five star restaurants and I have not had this kind of quality service in many years! We all left there 😊 and full from our meal 🤣 I will definitely come back with my daughters and family to experience that night. To the cooks and the manager we like to say well done! Quality of the food was spot on everything tasted outstanding"used deserve a round of applause!! Your company should appreciate what you do for the company's name 📛 you should be the poster team for friendly's!!!...

Great experience with the family and good service. We seen a claw game when we walked in and after we ordered our dinner while waiting on the food to get served too our table we went and played to past the time. It was great being everyone is a winner and my son walked away with 3 or 4 stuffed animals and when we got back to the table there was our appetizer and within minutes after we sat down so was our food being served too. The one complaint well 2 actually was the prices where high but I took it as 1 the area we were at and 2 with the "covid" everything is going up and all with that and big shame plus what the government has done to every business. I should know I own my own and been screwed every way and anyway they could do me but that's a whole another thing I'm going to stop there because good ppl did die that should not have because we just can't get the truth from anywhere. Idk who lies more the news or government / politicians. Anyway back to friendly's very high prices we actually used a coupon and because I order a kids meal being picky and I had just cracked a tooth it wasn't able to be used how we wanted. The only things negative I could say I was in the price of the Sundays that we got at the window leaving so we could use a coupon since I was over 12 and the kids meal they come free but since I was a grown up I didn't get mine free so I went to the window use a coupon to try to save. It's really good ice cream and a great Sunday but when you're paint more than you would for a quart at the grocery store it always seems to be very not worth it in my personal opinion even as great as it tasted and was. Maybe I was being cheap or whatever but we have 3 boys n a fourth on the way so trying to save is our middle names for those multiple kid parents out there. Other than that I would recommend them and I'd imagine that we'll be going back again one day. I went to try friendly’s for the first time ever despite everything I’ve heard. When we arrived the menu looked great and the server we had was off to a good start. We place our order and the food came out relatively quick. However this is where the problem begins. The photos used on their menu is straight up false advertising so if you don’t read the description of the item then, like my husband, you’ll be confused. We addressed the confusion with our server and she decided to go the kitchen and tell the staff that we were complaining that the burger was wrong. Yet all we asked was if this was the same burger because the picture looked different. All the serve had to do was explain that it was indeed the correct item and the photo was just slightly misleading (mind you the photo of the burger had what looked like pulled pork or beef but what arrived on the burger was chunks of brisket or something). The server then returns and offers us another item instead and when I made an assumption on what an “impossible burger” was given that everywhere else who uses those words refer to it as a plant based burger. When I expressed that to my husband, the serve who was facing my husband gave me the dirtiest side eye and snapped back with “it’s not an impossible burger”. I was rather surprised since she had just said impossible burger but I assumed I just misunderstood, however I did not appreciate her being rude and disrespectful. The serve proceeded to go back to the kitchen to bad mouth us some more. Needless to say we addressed it with the sever who acted like we couldn’t hear her from our seat, boxed up the sad and over priced meals, and left. I would never set foot in this establishment ever again, nor would I recommend...
