Denver West Deli — Restaurant in Golden

I'm very disappointed. I ordered from here this morning in hopes of ordering breakfast and lunch for today. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a bowl of soup, potato salad, an egg salad sandwich and a soda. I only received the soup and the breakfast sandwich. I should mention they did write a note saying they didn't' have potato salad and gave me macaroni salad instead. Normally, I would have been ok with this but being as how I didn't even receive half of what I ordered, it peeved me enough to write this review. I really liked this place last time I went there but it seems like someone was careless putting together my order today or the DoorDash driver made off with some of it. DoorDash won't even credit my the total price of the items I'm missing and gave me 8 dollars back for the 15 dollars of stuff I ordered. I order from here regulary, but this is second time they have dropped the ball now. Ordered a meatball sandwich meal today, they were apparently out of containers (not the first time), so I ended up getting my sandwich wrapped up, and a side cup of potato salad. Wrapping my sandwich like they did, caused all the cheese to be stuck on the side of the foil. The side cup of potato salad feels tiny, which is whatever..but the potato salad in this tiny cup was sooo cold it was almost frozen. And no pickle spear. I was a regular here, but no more.

Do not waste your time with this overpriced and overworked dump of a sandwich counter.

Massive understaffing here with three employees despite what appeared to be more than a dozen area staffers blowing out their lunch break waiting endlessly for food that should take minutes to prepare but will absolutely require a 20 or 30+ minute wait.

It's so bad several times one of the overworked employees would call out an order that was ready - only to find the customer had already left the premises.

Food is passable - not good. Mediocre freshness and lukewarm drink coolers while you wait wait wait wait.

Businesses with this little regard for their own customers need to be put out of their misery.
