If I could give this place a negative star review I would. We arrived after a long weekend in the mountains starving and ready for some burgers and fries. There was 6 of us so there was a little wait and we're seated in a timely manner. That's where it all began....Jon was our sever and as he greeted the table he immediately gave an excuse on how tired and low energy he was from a "project" that he was working on all weekend for school. But he said " no worries, I can do this job in my sleep!". This was not the case. He took our drink order we all ordered soda waters and a couple drinks from the bar with bottomless fries with sauces for an app. As the table next to us were sat at this time, they had a different server. They had received their drinks and ordered their food. 10 mins goes by and we still haven't received our soda waters or fries. Jon was nowhere to be found. Finally he came by with the waters and 2 drinks from the bar and our fries but with missing sauces. As a drink sounded good I ordered one as well as my fiance. He carded us and it was my fiance's birthday that day and Jon had no idea what day it even was. So by this time the table next to us received their food while we were ordering. We ran out of fries and ordered more. However, it took almost 15 mins to get more fries and saw other servers come out with fries for their tables. Jon heard us talking about his service and how long it was taking to get some fries to us. He came over to our table and made a comment on how he could hear us talking about his service and came up with an excuse that the other servers steals his fries to take to their tables. At this time we we're pretty unhappy due to us being so hungry and tired of waiting while the table next to us were finishing up dinner and getting ready to pay. As I look around managers are either not present or oblivious to Jon's awful service ability. Another server came out with some fries and about 5 mins later our food came out. While our food was amazing and cooked correctly the service was the worst I've had in a long time. No manager came over to ask or hear our concerns with our server or wait time for food. It made it seem like we didn't matter. I think Jon and the management team need more training on how to take better care of their customers. We were there for an hour and half in which is way longer then we anticipated. We will not be back and if you do decide to eat there make sure you take extra time out of your day if you get Jon as...
Read moreI would like to share my recent experience at the Red Robin located on West Colfax, which was unfortunately quite disappointing. Around noon, my family and I decided to have lunch at the restaurant. We were seated to the left of the entrance, and a male waiter, believed to be named Robert, attended to us and was very pleasant. He encouraged my daughter to sign up for the rewards program, which offered a free appetizer.
We placed our order for two kids' pizza meals—one with fries and one with oranges. Although the waiter initially brought out the fries and drinks for the kids, they filled up on fries, leading us to decide to take the pizza meals home. We also ordered two burgers cooked medium, but they arrived well done instead. Throughout our visit, we had to repeatedly request items that should have been included with our meals, and it felt as though we were being viewed as an inconvenience.
Once home, the children were hungry, so we opened the pizza. To my surprise, my grandson refused to eat it, stating it tasted unpleasant. Upon tasting the pizza myself, I discovered it was burnt. It is concerning that a family-friendly restaurant served burnt food to small children.
The following day, I contacted a manager to discuss the service we received. During the conversation, the manager offered me a $25 gift card as compensation, which I declined. My intention was not to seek a refund or complimentary food but rather to highlight the need for compassion and understanding in customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially for families with young children, given our experience. Additional training from management down is desperately needed at...
Read moreEarlier tonight I decided to stop in to my red Robin to pick up two shakes as a treat for my wife on our anniversary. I had no issue ordering or paying; my issue came when I was waiting for my shakes. I was told to wait by the doors, as I did. A lady with grub hub was there picking up food and apparently was missing a shake. As one of my shakes were made, the second in the process. She ran up to the bar grabbing mine and very quickly running(I literally mean running) out. She also put all of her personal belongings visibly covered with animal hair and who knows what else on the sanitized menus, silverware, plates, cups and all the other take out orders; she was touching and rummaging through these other take out orders(clearly they were not heres) and so here I am waiting still for my two shakes again. I had to find a manager and ask for someone to make my stolen shake and explained all that happen with this really rude grub hub employee. The manager acted as if this were normal, did not apologize or offer something for this inconvenience as well as he could not hand me the shake, he made the hostes bring it to me. And then...the shakes I ended up receiving were not even made right. One was overloaded with chocolate had no cookies and the other was only blended up vanilla with no cookies; I ordered two oreo shakes and definitely did not get two oreo shakes. I waited at my red Robin for these two messed up shakes for forty five minutes. Usually when I go to my red Robin I have a pleasant experience and leave sastisfied; tonight I was only disgusted, disappointed and...
