I'm not normally the type to leave reviews...not exactly my thing. However, I just had an unexpected extraordinary time in Twin Peaks Colorado Mills.
So I walk in...place is packed...wind up waiting about 20 minutes for a seat. A booth becomes available(my preference, if given the chance)...sit down, and am pretty quickly greeted by a very nice looking woman...name tag says, Charli...could be the typical airhead flighty type...but right away, I'm incline not to think so...she looks me direct in the eye, straightforward...I ask for coffee...so that probably set me aside for a non drinker type...but...she brings me a very bold cup of Java and I sit and peruse the well traveled paper menu I asked for. She comes back...and I ask about the ribs --- I've had decent ribs here before...also had extremely dry versions also...she tells me wait here...I will check --- she comes back with this great big grin on her face...says...the cook that's here, he says, when I'm working...they'll be extra good!! So, I order a chicken quesadilla and full rack of ribs...along with two subbed sides... The quesadilla makes it out early(nice)...and when the ribs come, I'm delighted. The ribs turn out to be in the top ten places I've had ribs --- big meaty ooohey-gooey...just rrrright...nearly fall off the bone --- I'm in heaven...Charli comes back a couple times and checks on me --- each time looks me straight in the eyes and responds like she truly cares how I'm doing...as a coffee drinker...that is sooo nice to have wait staff that keeps up with coffee refills...and she's genuinely talkative...another nice plus. I wound up taking doggie bags for both plates, but...wow...great dinner guys --- and Charli --- kudos...you are one of a kind and...
Read moreI’m here to leave my review about a very unpleasant situation that happened a few days ago at this place. It’s really disappointing when you go out with friends to celebrate the birthday of someone you truly care about, and everything gets ruined because of incompetent staff.
We were a group of friends celebrating a birthday when, at one point, we made a toast and one of the glasses—apparently already damaged—broke. Because of this, the waitress stopped serving us and even canceled all of our pending orders. We asked to speak with the manager, and when we asked what was going on, he said we were a “danger” to the staff, that the girls working there were in bikinis, and that he couldn’t continue serving us—speaking in a very rude way and without any empathy.
On top of everything, I strongly felt that the way we were treated had a racist undertone, which made the whole experience even more humiliating and unacceptable.
After that, we decided to leave, feeling frustrated and disappointed that on such a special day, and after barely arriving, we were treated so poorly and kicked out. I used to come to this place for special occasions, but it’s now clear to me that I will never return.
I’m attaching the receipt showing that we had only ordered three beers between two people up until that point, and the food we had ordered never even arrived.
Thanks for your “service,” but I won’t be...
Read moreMy less than 5 star review has nothing to do with anything other than the manager.
We came late and our waitress Janiah was so sweet. She had a great personality and anyone who giggles when they laugh is ok in my book. The bartenders made drinks quickly and were very attentive to their bar guest which is where I normally would sit.
What really grinds my gear is there was one server waiting all the dining room tables and two bartenders managing drinks and the bar top. Our drinks were rang in and because our server had to handle cashing out some tables and greet others, she wasn’t able to run her own bar drinks.
I watched the manager wander around doing nothing for 3-4 minutes then stop and talk to a bar regular not 10’ from the where our drinks had been waiting. Completely ignoring them with no intention or helping out it appeared, I finally couldn’t take it ent longer and said something to him.
I finally got so pissed I went up to interruptor his bro time with the regular and ask him if it was ok if I get our tables drinks since we had been waiting for so long.
Of course being called out he immediately got the drinks over to us but holy crap dude. That’s literally your job at night. Support your staff and fill in wherever is needed to take care of your guests since you’re down to...
