Mannie & Bo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Golden

Don't go here unless you want to be called and thief and get terrible service!

I ordered 7 pizzas paid close to $100 (which was actually a good deal compared to the other pizza places in the area). When I got home, all of the pizzas were overcooked, had burnt edges and tasted like you were biting into a cracker! Teenagers were eating majority of the pizza and didnt seem to mind so I didnt complain about those. However when I got to my pizza that I had been craving ALL DAY, the pizza was burnt, had clumps of cheddar cheese on it (which I didnt order) and just tasted AWFUL. I called to ask them to either refund the $8 I paid for this pizza, or make me another one on another day since I had a house full of teenagers I couldn't leave on their own. I was told by the kid who answered the phone the following statements:

*We arent in the business of giving away free food lady *Cheddar cheese is in our cheese blend so I highly doubt it tastes that bad (Keep in mind I asked for light cheese because of an allergy) *I will THINK about refunding you the $1.50 you paid for the cheddar cheese but Im not guaranteeing anything *Its not my fault you have a bunch of kids at your house and cant bring me the pizza tonight, but I guess I will just have to wait until tomorrow

Even after I reminded him that his employee was saying that she was the one who got it wrong, it was even my fault! But yet I was made to feel like a thief and a scammer, after I had just paid them $100! I was only asking that I get what I paid for but that wasn't an option!

So bottom line the food is okay, the service is TERRIBLE and they could care less about their customers, I guess when you've been around as long as they have they think they dont have to give a damn, but I send A LOT of people to them, definitely...

I went here for lunch today after being told about the student deals they have. When we were seated we asked about the student special and the server told us it was half price for any size pizza with any toppings. This sounded like a great deal so my group ordered one small pizza and three medium pizzas.

The food was very good, however when the check came the server informed us he was mistaken and it was only half price for the small size. As three of us had ordered mediums based on the information provided to us by the server we politely asked to speak with the manager. The manager arrived and before speaking with any of us adopted one of the most hostile attitudes I have ever encountered at a restaurant. We were informed that the server had quoted us the wrong deal and that even though it was the restaurants fault we would not be able to use the deal. When we tried to engage in an intelligent, adult conversation explaining how this wasn't fair we were immediately drown out by the manager telling us she would be the one asking the questions and asking us if we happened to be rocket scientists.

I felt bad for the server because he was a very nice high school aged guy who looked embarrassed at the behavior of his supervisor. I'm sure this place is typically very good, however after being treated this poorly by one of the managers I would advise you to take your business anywhere else. Reading other reviews here it appears my group is not the only one who has encountered this particular employee. As the food is very good I would advise the owner to deal with this problem or risk losing...

Lately the service and quality I feel like has gone downhill in the last year or so. I would like to start out with the fact that I usually rave positively to my friends about Manny and bo's. So here's what happened today. Google says they don't open until 11 am which is fine I saw that it was 10:58 am so I figured I'd see if they had opened yet. To my excitement they had. I told the girl on the phone I wanted a lunch special for pickup. I ordered the 1 slice 1 salad and 1 drink combo. I informed the girl I would be in to pick it up at 11:30 so they would have it ready. When I got there everyone was friendly and they had my order ready to go. Now here's where I got a little frustrated I hip on the road open my box and my pizza was cold looked like it had sat for a while and was burnt. I was kind of off put by this cause usually the pizza even when it's to go is warm and not burnt. So I ate a few bites and figured oh well I have my salad. So I dig in my bag grab my salad out and guess what no fork.... SERIOUSLY?!? on Fridays I have 30 minutes to drive across town to get my kids that's why I ordered my food ahead. So I drive across town hungry pick up my kids and when I get back to golden I called the store. A girl answered and I immediately asked for a manager. I was put on hold for a brief time then the same girl came back and informed me No manager was present but she would take my name and number and they'd call me back.
