I hadn't been to a Chuck E. Cheese since I was a kid living in Florida, but I have a little one now and thought that she might enjoy it. I'll start by saying that the pizza was surprisingly good. I remember loving it as a kid, but all pizza is amazing as a kid and my tastes have changed. I really prefer a good New York style pizza now, but if I was ranking the national chaina vs CC, I think they would place in the top one or two. I was pleasantly surprised.
Next I'll say that the days of tokens and tickets, though I certainly have a lot of nostalgia for them, are gone and for the better. Now you can still buy credits if you want, but there's a better alternative now in the form of unlimited play time. We bought an hour of play and my daughter played her little heart out throwing footballs into the goal. As for tickets, they all go straight to your card now so you don't have to keep track of them. Good so far.
Last I'll mention the overall facility atmosphere, and here is where I took points off. We have been twice now, and there are quite a few machines that are broken and have stayed broken. On their website they mention that they try to keep, I think, a 90 percent up time for all machines, and I would venture to say that they aren't keeping that promise at this location. There were still plenty of games to play, but it was still a bit disappointing. Also there tended to be a lot of empty tables that hadn't been wiped clean so it made it a bit difficult to find a place to sit down. And the other thing was that the workers were courteous and helpful, but they just didn't seem happy to be there which I see as a mark against the company not the workers. I remember my days working lame jobs for low wages and I feel for them. Let's get these folks a pay bump and some managers that can foster a work place where people want to work. Anyway, that's my soap box moment.
Go visit this place for a fun time. I...
Read moreI have a member pass in Boston and go all the time and their trampoline park is supposed to be open the whole visit not locked every time a child leaves out briefly and we have to constantly ask for it to be open. Then I’m being told it’s because they are short staffed. I informed the staff I understand the short shaft but we still paid the full amount and we aren’t getting a half price because you guys are giving half service on a ask basis after collecting our money and not telling us this when we first asked during purchase. Then I go in the bathroom to change my baby I nicely was asking if there were any other diaper liners in the bathroom. The manager the lady with the glasses was very snappy and gave excuses of what she has to do for us to get them and how she isn’t paying for us to use them. Honestly she could t of just said we don’t have any in stock instead of the snappy attitude complaining of what she would have to for us as customers, and how she would have to pay to order more, When her whole job purpose is customer service. Not a fan and will not be returning. Only person with customer service experience was the girl in the front. Who listened and politely explained which out the attitude. If you hate your job find a...
Read moreFirst visit pizza was great and staff was attentive during weekend rush with birthday parties. Second visit was not so great. Took over an hour to get pizza which I had to ask about. The pizza didn't have sauce. So was not good at all. There was one birthday party and about 10 other customers. The young girl at prize counter had no clue what to do. Sign clearly states 1 penny = 1 ticket. She had to get manger because I was buying with cash. She needed to verify it was ok. Really? Of course manager took forever to get there. And she still got it wrong...she wore it on her paper the added total with her phone. Why? Manger finally arrived and rung me up with cash register. What was the purpose of the phone calculator? What was the girls purpose? Probably not a good idea to train staff with sink or swim method. I spent over $100 between pizza and token credits. I expect to be treated as important as the birthday parties. All customers should be treated equally no matter how much they spend. I am not sure if I will go back again. If I do I will...
