LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Tonight we went to Longhorn for my husband’s birthday. This our favorite place to eat for special occasions. Well I called ahead of time to see if we could get reservations because we had a big party. I was told that we couldn’t and that they could only seat 12 at table. My niece got our name on the list she was told it would be an hour and half wait. Well an hour went by and there were people that came in after us that was being seated. We went back and asked what was going on and the hostess stated we still had 45 more minutes. We asked if they could sit us at booths and we didn’t have to sit together. We were told that it still would take that long. We asked people that came in behind us how long they were told they stated 15 to 20 minutes. I proceeded to go back up there after I saw more people go in front of us. I asked the hostess to see the manager. I explained to the manager what we were trying to do because we didn’t think the hostess understood what we were talking about. We told the manager that we were willing to sit at other tables if we couldn’t sit together. At first the manager said it would still be long wait then we proceeded to say all these empty booths none of us can sit in them. In seconds she found us a table for 10. Our other guests sat at booths not near us. We were okay until we saw sit a table of 18 when I was told they could only seat a table of 12 on the phone. The waitress was very nice that waited on us. We never saw the manager or the hostess again to check to see if we were okay. They didn’t even offer my husband any dessert for his birthday.I am very disappointed in what used to be my...

Me and my family ate there on December 19, 2018. We were seated by the maitre d' and she then wanted to know what we were drinking? She explained to us that she was having to get our drinks because our server was busy. I asked what beers they had on tap and she told me to look in the book and I told her I would make it easy by ordering a bud light! Then she asked me if I wanted a glass and that's when I should have got up and walked out!!! Before she walked away she wanted to know if we wanted some bread. RIGHT!! She did not ask if we would like to order an appetizer and I for one was not about to order one either! The server made it to the table to take our order and when finished never offered to refill the drinks or ask if there was something else he could get for us. My spouse asked for extra butter and it never arrived. Bottom line dropped $75 and I have had much better service at a blue plate diner or for that matter a truck stop restaurant on I 95! The baked sweet potatoe was right out of the ground with the extra glob of butter sitting on top of it my spouse had requested with the bread. Just a bunch of ill mannered and unrefined people. This place is a joke! I love Longhorn so while visiting Goldsboro we decided to eat there. The service was horrible! We ordered flatiron steak and steamed broccoli the steak was the kids meal steak and three orders of broccoli was raw! Manager came over said he would go get me the right steak and recook the broccoli. Brought the same steak back out and another order of raw broccoli! It took 30 minutes for him to bring that back out. I had to ask for it would have probably sat back there even longer. Finally I just said let's go I'm not even gonna try to get the right food! So I ask for the bill 15 minutes later I get the bill. They charged me for drinks that are suppose to come with the kids meal. So the manager has to come back over to my table, then he takes my credit card to run the check and looses my credit card! After 30 minutes of searching the whole restaurant they finally find it! We we're at this restaurant for 2.5 hours. I get sorry we have caused you so much trouble tonight. No compensation or let me take something off your bill or nothing!!! Wow is all I can.
