Tropical Smoothie Cafe Goldsboro — Restaurant in Goldsboro

I ordered to go in side cafe. Service was chaotic, girl took my order barely spoke, staff very unfriendly. Standing in storre all sorts of other items made and aced on counter but no rhyme or reason and staff continuously had to check what went where taking up. I ordered 2 meals each included flatbread sandwich, side, and, smoothie. I got our sandwiches first then about 5 minutes later, one smoothie which I had to let them know I was waiting on another smoothie. Service counter smoothie maker never acknowledge me speaking but told the prepper what smoothie I was waiting on. Again many more drinks placed on counter and another approximate 5 minutes passes before I got my second smothie. By this time remember my hot sandwiches were cold before I even left cafe. My son side with his meal was banana which he threw out 2 big chunks because brown. Overall just poor quality and terrible service do not recommend at least not at lunch time or if you want to have hot food and drinks all at same time because they have zero regard or system set to accommodate such simple common sense order...

If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. My entire life I have eaten at tropical smoothies around me and this one is the worst location I’ve ever seen. We’ve tried multiple times to give them multiple chances to possibly get at least one order right and they have yet to accomplish that. Either they can’t make what you’re asking, or you order from their online app for in store pickups and your smoothies aren’t refrigerated so they are melted sitting on a counter waiting for you(as you arrive on time for the selected pick up time) and half the time they tell you”we can’t make that sandwich anymore” but don’t bother calling you on the number left with the order to inform you of that. They just wait until you get there, act clueless and tell you “oh we don’t make that anymore” while you pick up your COMPLETELY melted smoothies. Complete joke of a location. We will not be returning. You need new employees or new management because something in your employment...

I wanted to share my visit as today I ordered for the first time. It’s an extremely busy location but I appreciate my food being freshly made. It will be a bit of a wait so keep that in mind. I ordered the chia oatmeal bowl and the spinach feta and pesto wrap. The bowl had fresh blueberries and banana. I really enjoyed the oatmeal and red quinoa mixture with coconut milk as well as the hint of honey and granola. It did have Chobani greek yogurt for the base. Very great portion and refreshing. As far as my wrap, I love anything pesto so the breakfast wrap was super filling and the perfect portion. It was not soggy and my wrap had the perfect crunch. I would most definitely visit again. I lend the employees grace as they are making multiple orders at a time while providing quality. The presentation was amazing. I will upload pictures next time I go because I honestly forgot and I was way too ready to indulge in my food. Thank you again...
