Our family visits Pepe's for just about every birthday celebration dinner, and the staff is always so accommodating to our large party. Food is never disappointing, and service is always friendly, prompt, and attentive. Parking is abundant, and the entire establishment is consistently clean and presentable. Awesome atmosphere! Always a great experience: )
*I would also like to give props for the incredibly professional and patient staff that served us during our last visit in February. I arrived very late (the celebrating party had already finished and left), but I was starving, so I decided to stay and eat. I hadn't realized how close to closing time I had come in, but because the restaurant was so empty, I decided to look up the hours of operation and learned I had arrived 15 minutes before close! I felt so embarrassed, and bad for keeping the staff past close. However, the server was absolutely wonderful because he was so friendly, I never felt rushed, and he insisted I enjoy my meal without worry! Customer service like that is almost impossible to...

I got the Frozen lime margarita and it was delicious. We also got the michelada with Negra Modelo and it was tasty. I got the veggie fajitas and I really appreciated that our server made sure to ask what kind of beans I wanted and informed me about the pinto beans being made with lard causing me to choose black beans instead. No one really asks so I appreciated her very much. My partner got the pobrecito burrito. It was a steak burrito. He said it was delicious. All in all. Great food, drinks and service. Go check them out. Happy to have them back up and running.
Only request would be since they are not bringing back the buffet on Tuesday and Fridays is for them to maybe have an appetizer of the mini chimichangas that they use to have....
Read moreTheir bean chimichanga was almost all cheese, it would have been so much better if there had actually been beans in it. I just ended up taking out most of the filling and eating the tortilla with their delicious guac and salsa.
Take two: 6 months later. I asked for a bean, rice, and cheese chimichanga. They said they couldn't put rice in it, so had to get an order of rice and beans on the side. (Why...) Cut into the chimichanga and yet again nothing but cheese and a couple of lone pinto beans came gushing out. Thankfully I had the beans and rice to eat, because I was unable to finish my chimichanga due to the MASSIVE amounts of cheese congealed inside. I'll probably end up giving another try in 6 months when I forget how much cheese they used. Hopefully next time I'll remember to say "Use 1/6 the amount of cheese you would normally use." Anyway, guac is...
