Donut Palace — Restaurant in Gonzales

Sent my husband to get donuts and kolaches, he ordered half a dozen of donuts and half a dozen of kolaches. Be aware this was his first time visiting this place.. Well they ended up giving him a full dozen of donuts which they charged him for it as well. Like what are we going to do with the rest of the 6 donuts left. We don't buy what we are not going to eat as a family so food won't be wasted. Be careful people they charge you for what you don't ask for. So my husband went inside this time and told her he didn't want the other six donuts because he didn't order them and he wanted his refund on those six. And before anyone says well he should have confirmed before buying. Husband told her twice what he wanted and before paying she repeated the order still charge him full dozen without his consent. So my husband drives up and checks before leaving the donut shop and sees he was given a dozen of donuts. So he went in to tell them that he said he wanted a half a dozen of donuts not a whole dozen. And the lady at the register was mad and went to get my husband his change back and told him she is not going to touch the other six donuts and for him to keep them in a rude way. I have tried this place a several times for different items from donuts which are good when I get to them while hot or warm, the do a great job with donuts, donuts holes and these types of items but as for kolaches of any type they really need to let it go or take the time to work on getting it right because they served me and my family half cooked product and even product with skimpy ingredients… they don’t have much going on in the customer service department either because they seem to just want to sell their stuff and get you out the way no words at all but I can deal with that as long as my food is good and cooked properly but the donuts and similar items are good but kolaches and similar items are terrible … these are some pics of boudin kolaches the I cut in half one and the others haven’t been touched at all that’s the exact product they gave us I didn’t open the box until I got home 7-10 mins later .. straight...

This was my first time ordering from y’all and I had ordered some donut holes, filled ones and regular glazed ones and I don’t know what you people did but my son and I have been sick throwing up and being miserable ever since we ate your donuts this morning. They seemed stale to begin with but I thought I was being overly critical, now I wish I would have listened to my instincts....
