This was my first visit to this establishment and it will be my last. My family of 5 decided to give this restaurant a try. There was a fair amount of people in the restaurant which we attributed as a good sign. We were told the wait would be 10-15 minutes. We sat and waited and waited as we noticed 5 different parties who came in after us were being seated before us. These parties consisted of 3-7 people per party. When we asked the hostess why that was she advised that per the manager, they have to sit the larger parties as soon as possible. I asked to speak with the manager. He made a piss poor attempt to explain the logic which still did not make sense. I've eaten out with large parties many times before and the reality of eating with a large party is the wait is usually longer. Now unless they are trying to change the industry this is just poor customer service. The manager Neil waved his hand in a gesture to shoo us away and said, "Just give them a free desert." 😡 Now I would have slapped the crap out of him but considering I was in the company of my young children I refrained. The only reason we stayed at this point was because my children were hungry, it was Friday night and a wait would be likely and since we already waited 30-40 minutes I figured they can at least get started on the chips and salsa. Our waitress Natalie was super nice. She was very apologetic and worked as quickly as she could do get our food out to is. The owner happened to be in the restaurant this night so I figured it would be in his best interest to know first hand about this experience since it is his business. Well, well, well, he punked out and and sent Neil. I told Neil I wanted to see the owner, he said he's busy right now, I said I'll wait. 20 minutes later the owner finally came, that too was a waste of time, he basically just listed to what I had to say. The food is only mediocre and I will NEVER AGAIN spend my money at an establishment that does not take customer service with a little...
Read moreI arrived at Casa around 12 noon a party of six. After a 1/2 hour I had to ask someone to wait on our table. All the people who came after us was waited on before us. We had a 1:30 showtime at the theater so I didn’t want to be late. We were the 3rd party there in the entire place when we arrived. After I told someone about it, a waitress name Olivia came to take our drink order. We waited while she waited on other tables. Finally got our drinks and queso and then she left. We ran out of chips and asked for some more. After waiting another 20 minutes she finally took our order. By this time it was 12:45. She literally almost threw a basket of chips that we ask for on the table. We finally got our food at 1 pm and had to eat fast to make our movie. I love Casa and this is by far the worst service I ever received. I asked for the check and gave her my credit card. Next I noticed they singing happy birthday while I’m still waiting for my check. When she came to the table I asked her where was my bill and credit card. She didn’t even know. We finally left at 1:25 for a 1:30 show. I usually leave a 20% tip but I left her $10 bucks cause I didn’t think she was worth the 20%. I will still go to Casa cause I...
Read moreWent last night. I didn’t expect it to be really good but didn’t expect it to be really bad either. The queso was mild but ok. The salsa is tomato/chili season tasting. Not bad but unlike any other salsa I’ve ever had. I don’t know what the deal is adding chili seasoning to salsa! STOP IT! That’s not SALSA AT ALL! The guacamole IS pretty good! The Emanadas are not good. I ordered the 3 enchiladas. Bad. They taste like those “JOSE OLE” burritos you buy at a gas station. The cheese they use is the average block cheddar that they shred themselves. Hubby had the tacos that were supposed to come with CORN tortillas but came with flour. They used BAGGED LETTUCE! He ate one out of 3. Nothing was tasteful or FRESH! Paid $28 for 2 margaritas, hubby liked them. I had sweet tea it was good. Waitress was lifeless and curt. The whole atmosphere is just kinda blasé, not fun nothing stands out. It has a cafeteria feel. There are no food SMELLS. We paid $89.49 for 2 people, rounded it out for an even $100 with tip. Probably the 2nd worst “Mexican” food restaurant I’ve been too. If you have no taste buds then you could eat here. If you are a little snobbish when it comes to “Mexican” food this is NOT THE...
