Albasha Express — Restaurant in Gonzales

Been here over 5 times since living in Louisiana.. the food has always came out fresh and Good. It's the people they hire and the ones that call themselves supervisors and managers with no customer service skills.. Fat Boy at the Drive thru window was mad and rude because "he's been working for 12 hours" but I honestly think it was because I'm black.. after a while of being in this skin you can tell who's racist and doesn't like dealing with my kind just too afraid to admit it to your face.. I treat people with respect first I'm not ghetto and I say please and thank you to EVERYONE.. diabetic tony the tiger needs to get it...

I posted this and it was placed on the Hwy 30 website... the food is not the same, this location's food is great! Consistently Good... I eat here often, sometimes twice a week (like this week). Their food has always been delicious. The staff are very friendly. My favorite is the chicken plate. My only substitute is the salad, I don't like the dressing. I think I have been programed to prefer the salad at the restaurant where I 1st fell in love w/ Greek food... but I digress. Always good food! The ppl are friendly as well...i usually eat here once a month or so and i love the sharma salald but my favorite is the platter that comes with the kibbi. Its so yummy and the grape leaf rolls(u can get cabbage instead if u prefer) w the grecian sauce and their hummus is one of the best ive tried...also if u want to try an app id recommend fried cheese eat it while its warm w ur salad n i ask for extra olives and pour the warm garlic olive oil the cheese is in over my hummus or salad or to dip my pita.
