Smoothie King — Restaurant in Gonzales

I just left this location today 09/09/24 around 2 pm and was once again disappointed. The smoothies here are consistently bland compared to other locations. It’s like they are trying to save on ingredients by shortening what goes in the recipe. I always get dates in my smoothies, which I understand takes a little bit more effort to scoop, which the employees here clearly refuse to put forth. I regularly have to get my smoothies remade when I have time. Also it’s like they know the experience is lackluster so they try not to give you your receipt if you don’t ask for it. The attitudes here are also dry and not really friendly. Perhaps new management is needed. Also, I’m a smoothie king regular and have the app where I’m considered a “Champion Guest” because I get smoothies that often. In my opinion they are the worst location...

I was going to add a bad review but Management is very good at their job over this smoothie king. I ordered a Pineapple Spinach add Yogurt and Blue Spirulina. I got my order (top smoothie) and told them it did not have Yogurt or Blue Spirulina after tasting it. The Yogurt makes the smoothie more viscous and The Spirulina gives it a blue tint. I come here often (shown in receipt). Management said that refunding would be hard however because the order was messed up and I had to drive back to get the smoothie I paid for, they gave me a size up free of charge. I appreciate them remaking my smoothie and tipped the employees since I did not have to pay for the smoothie to be remade. I went to the Smoothie King on Airline and Burnside I asked for a Small smoothie I got a Large my order was 9.25 I gave the young man at the window 10.25 I should have been given a dollar back he was going to give me .54 cents I ask to speak to a manager she never spoke to me the young man said she gave 10.25 I was going to give her .54 cents she pulls out her phone and used the calculator to figure out to give me a dollar back if your going to hire someone they should at least be able to add and subtract I guess I'm going to buy a blender cause I spend alot of money at smoothie king but if you can't add or know small from large I just had gastric bypass and a small is to much a large is really to much wont be going back...
