Update: I heard back from the company, they apologized and assured me the situation would be taken care of. That I was not the only complaint made on Dairy and it would be handled. I'm changing my review from 1 to 3 stars, and will change it again as needed if I do go back and gave a different experience.
On Dec 23rd I called and spoke to a woman named Halo, she was extremely friendly. I called to ask what size hams were still available, and their prices. I explained I live an hour away and would be driving down, so I wanted to make sure they had what I wanted. Halo was helpful, made suggestions, and was friendly. She explained when they run out, they run out, and that I would have to go to another location if they run out. I wasnt able to make it that same day. So the next day on Christmas Eve I called and Dairy (?) answered the phone. She was short and rude with me. I asked if they had what I was looking for available since I would be driving an hour to get there, and she refused to tell me. Giving me the generic response of "we are trying our best to supply all our customers" when I explained yesterday I was able to get an answer and again she said in a monotone voice "we are trying our best to supply all our customers." Then I had the pleasure of having her "help" me at the counter when I got to the store. There was practically no wait as there were a lot of cashiers working, there were 2 people in front of me when I walked in and still got to the counter within 1 or 2 mins. Dairy called me to the counter, no smiles, do friendly demeanor. I asked for the pre-sliced ham by the pound, she said "I don't know if we have that" amd just stared at me like she was expecting me to change my order. Another woman walked by behind her and saw the exchange of "I dont know" and us staring at each other, and asked what I was looking for, I told her "2lbs of sliced ham" and she said "let me go look for you!" She went to the cooler to look and Dairy just walks away and goes to another register. Even as friendly as the 2nd woman was who actually did her job was, she still rushed me along and I was unable to complete my order. I had to ask the cashier to help with completing my order. The cashier, Erica, according to the receipt was friendly and patient. I have been to other Honey Baked Ham locations in Florida and thought of of the brand as an upscale place. This is a run down dinghy looking location. And after having the experience I did with Dairy I will never return to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an awful, awful experience at this location. It took over an hour to pick up a ham at this location on the day before Thanksgiving. I arrived with my reservation number to pick up the hand and was told that my ham was not ready that we would have to wait and to step to the side. The staff was very, very unprofessional, and pretty much rude. Once, I did receive my ham after being told to step to the side and was just left there for about 30 minutes, I paid for it, the ham was not shown to me in the store. I returned home and the ham was completely burned. The glaze was non-existent and the flavor of the taste was horrible. I have responded to 2 surveys on the website and haven't heard anything back. I've asked both times for them to call me back to discuss and no one has contacted me. I call the 800 number and the representative there advised me to call the store. I called the store no one answers. I don't recommend honeybaked ham or this location to anyone! I have purchased a ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. I will not be purchasing any more hams. This store is terrible. They need new management for sure. And I still have not been contacted concerning my survey. Not a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered my 2023 Thanksgiving meal several days in advance-prepaid. I assumed my order would be packaged and ready for pick up (under my name)at the designated time (which you choose when you place the order). I even got a follow up email telling me my order was ready for pick up. When I arrived, I found this is not true. They put your order together after you get there from whatever is left over. Pre order means nothing. It is first come--first serve. My cornbread dressing was not available. The number of preorder orders should have been counted, marked, and available. I was furious because that was my most important dish. It left me with going to the store for ingredients to make my own but the store did not have a single sack of self rising corn meal. I have some medical issues and was trying to simplify my dinner, so this was very disappointing. Honey Baked absolutely ruined my dinner. Your food might be good but this was not ok. The only person who deserves a star is the young man at the counter who was very polite and apologetic. Not his fault what happened. I would suggest everybody try Cracker Barrel for Christmas pre order. I left the store cussing in the parking lot but I did not...
