Hooters — Restaurant in Goodlettsville

Update: Received a call from the manager who was super nice and took all of my concerns and made the situation right. Will give them a 2nd chance.

When we arrived we got seated pretty fast. There was only about 12 customers in the building. We got seated and then the problems began... We waited 10 minuets for a server to come take our drink order. When she got our drink order we ordered 2 appetizers. She checked on us about 10 mins later and we ordered a 6 piece Daytona wings since we were going to stay to watch the race/ hockey game. Well 35 mins after ordering our appetizers we finally received then. We ordered our food when the appetizers came. We waited another 15 minutes and still have not received our Daytona wings. We decided to get our food Togo since we have been there an hour and service had been horrible. We finally got our to go meals 35 mins after ordering them. We get home to realize that they did not give us our Daytona wings or the fries to my sons burger. No we did not go back or call to let then know because it wouldn’t have made a difference. We weren’t going to drive 20 mins back to the restaurant to get them, service was not up to par at all. Servers going out back for 10/15 mins at a time leaving their customers wondering when they will be back. There was at-least 3 cooks in the back. There is no reason why it should take 30 minuets to get appetizers! I worked in the restaurant industry for 3 years and NEVER once it took 30 minuets to get appetizers out! The manager never came by the table to see how everything was. I know when I worked in the restaurant industry the managers ALWAYS walked the floor to make sure customers were taken care of. I will NOT recommend this location to anyone. And I will not be returning to...

Hooters always had great breaded wings. I usually love them! The atmosphere is usually up beat and fun but in this particular visit, my friends and i were seated and the waitress was pleasant and cute but we say down and we were bombarded and rushed i didn't even get all the way day shown before she asked us what we want to drink all to start with an appitizer and what we wanted to order for our meal. I asked for a second on the food in order to look at the menu and she got our drinks but then didn't return to the table for about 15 minutes to get our food order but was standing right beside our table talking to another customer which is understandable however 15 minutes is to long to conversate knowing you have another table waiting and hungry. I didn't complain because i was the one asking for time to look but as a server and bartender the amount of time someone needs to decide is about 7 minutes. She finally came and got our order and me and my friend tasted the teas we had ordered and it tastes very old and soured. It too about 15 more monies before we saw her again to get a different drink. It seemed as if she forgot to put our order in because wings take about 12 minutes to do fry and we wanted about 25 or 30 for ours and it was attend 2 on a weekday no-one was there and when we got them i didn't even ready them because they weren't cooked all the way the fries weren't done all the way either it was disgusting and a waste of money and i had to go buy more food i didn't say anything to the manager because its...

I got free boneless wings thanks to some promo they had. Excellent buffalo wings. I love how they taste at Hooters. 3-mile hot is perfect. The food, when it eventually came out, was spectacular. I go out of my way to try a Hooters in any city I visit because the one back home is 45 minutes to an hour or more to drive one way. I don't eat my favorite wings very often at all. Why did service get so terribly rated, you ask? It wasn't extremely busy, but a very large group came in AFTER I arrived. I watched them seat and adjust half the room to accommodate somewhere between 20-25 people. I also watched them get served before I did! Did I mention that I was here alone? I ordered 20 wings and fries, not difficult to prepare, and I got my order after that group had. I imagine everyone else who came in around the time I got there had to wait too. Did my waitress forget to put my order in because she was excited about the potential tip of that group that sat? Possibly. I know that I finished one blue moon and had to wait to get a second one. My Hooters girl seemed friendly and competent, so i don't think she was trying to offer bad service. I know that I will travel to Nashville again. This location was the closest to where my hotel was. Chances are, i will be staying at that hotel again out of convenience. Will I drive further away next time or chalk it up to that one large group and give them another try... time will tell.
