I am new to the area and was looking for some good authentic Thai or Chinese food so I gave this place a try because it was near and the pics were decent, but please don't be fooled. We called ahead, I walk in im ignored for about 5 minutes I walk up to the counter like excuse me and they get my information then go find my order. I sat my phone on the counter and began looking around as I waited, the lady comes back puts my food on the counter and pushes it towards the edge and knocks my new samsung z fold to the ground. I picked it up luckily it was fine because that counter is fairly tall. The lady did not apologize proceeds to charge me & I pay, I order 2 orders of shrimp fried rice and spring rolls. I then ask for more sauce even though I am okay with paying for extra she had an attitude I asked for more sweet and sour which btw was just orange color water gross. So this is already my experience now to review the food. If you don't know any better you might like this place but if you have ever had authentic Thai you will be disappointed Panda express has better quality food the sauces are bland, the rice has no flavor but the shrimps were good sizes. then the spring rolls were worse then the ones in the frozen food section at dollar tree the middle was soggy and under cooked I tried this place twice because of the reviews but I felt scammed and unwelcome both times. I don't want to say they don't care for brown ppl but if you read the reviews you might...
Read moreI've ordered takeout here 3 times in 2 months for the family. First two times were excellent. Top 3 in my AZ Chinese restaurant experience. The third time I ordered food it was awful. Day after Thanksgiving around the time they opened and they must have given the regular cooks the day off because it was greasy and the oil they fried the foods was either something new they were trying out to save a few dollars or it was turning rancid and most likely left over from 2 days earlier. We ended up throwing most of it away. Even the egg rolls and other appetizers were over saturated in oil and doughy. I discovered this was the result of the cooking oil not being hot enough. Additionally, I ended up with a wicked MSG headache and flushing sensation I've only experienced 2 or 3 other times in life. The staff must know which of them could have done this. You need to retrain this person and fire them if they don't meet your standards. The first two times I had your food it was awesome. On par or better than PF Chang's at half the cost. The third time was equivalent to the take out at Albertson's on Indian School. I am lowering my star rating...
Read moreTo the Management,
We recently visited your restaurant Wok Wei in Goodyear with my family, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing and upsetting experience.
We felt we were treated very poorly, in stark contrast to how other guests were treated. One staff member a guy in particular was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He clearly lacked basic customer service skills and made no effort to be courteous or welcoming. What was most disheartening was that this behavior seemed targeted specifically at us, as we observed significantly better service at nearby tables where American guests were seated.
This experience left us feeling deeply hurt and uncomfortable. It was a clear display of bias, if not outright racism, and is completely unacceptable in any hospitality setting.
The overall management and customer service were extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this place to others based on how we were treated.
We hope you take this feedback seriously and address the underlying issues—both in staff training and in creating a genuinely inclusive environment for all...
