Sandwich Masterz — Restaurant in Goodyear

Diamond in the rough!!! Stopped by on a whim after work and am very happy! They have a ton of sandwich options. Whatever your wanting and maybe even something you didn't know you wanted is on their menu. Taste was amazing. Meat was like getting it fresh carved off the bone (I had ham and it was like Christmas ham so good). Bread was fantastic. Owner/manager checked on me to make sure everything was alright.

Only reason I am taking off a star is because I think the place could use a deep clean (walls, floors, fixtures) not that it's super gross dirty but I think a lot of wear and tare has happened and they just haven't had a chance to update/give it the love it needs. One last thing that doesn't change my rating but a note to the owners. The theme is kind of all over the place. There was a family sign on one wall, a mural on another, some wresting stuff, and some Hispanic art. If they ever get a chance to remodel I hope they update the decor as well. I think another thing that would help is to update their menu board. Since they have so many amazing sandwich options. A menu board that has the prices of the sides, drinks, maybe a special or sandwich (or a few) of the month and then say somewhere see print out for all options.

All that won't stop me from coming back but I would hate such a great sandwich spot to disappear because of...

I am so excited that my coworker shared this place with me!it looks like a little hole in the wall place, but they really surpassed my expectations with their overall quality and customer service.For starters, the food was phenomenal!Fresh and ready for me to pick up at the promised time. Second, the staff was professional and caring! However,while waiting for my order, this woman was ahead of me ordering her food(I'm assuming it was her first time as well), and she kept complaining about everything. 'This is overpriced, do you even have any bread with crunchy things in it?' The staff (Miley,Chris,and Oz) assisted her as best they could and patiently explained the menu options to her, to which she responded by treating them rudely. I am not a confrontational person,however this woman got under MY skin and I absolutely felt the need to say something. As I was about to say something to this rude woman, Miley asked if I had an online order and she quickly got me my food. I wanted to tell her that I appreciated her and she's doing a very good job, not to let KAREN over there upset her. Overall, very happy and will definitely be returning! This is the best sandwich shoppe I've been to in all my 39 years! I usually don't take the time to do the reviews much but I had to for this place. Now, upon first seeing Sandwich Masterz, my hopes weren't too high and I basically thought that it was going to be just your run of the mill sandwich place. However, to my surprise, this place was, is, and continues to be amazing with their friendly customer service, fresh meats, veggies, cheeses, and hearty breads of which I recommend the sourdough. It withstands the fresh veggies that can tend to make other breads a bit soggy after so long. The owner is an extremely hopeful young man who was a delight to meet. My husband even forgot his wallet once and he was going to let the bill slide till we came back again ( unheard of in today's society) and it was 25$ or so. I had the money but my point is how awesomely generous is that??? The sandwiches are huge, the selection is even bigger so good luck deciding. And there's a vegan menu too! It's a hard call between some of those old fav's and some newbie's that look awefully tempting to try!
