I'm testing Raising Canes vs Chikfila. I chose the chicken sandwich combo from both establishments.
Cost: the chicken finger sandwich combo cost $11.14 after tax where as Chikfila's cost $9.84 after tax.
Time: i ordered each combo online before leaving my home. It took me about 20 minutes with traffic during peak hours to get to each place. Canes already had my order waiting for me 7 minutes after ordering. Great!
Chickfila struggled to maintain its orders and my order wasn't ready, even after 34 minutes. Not Great.
The Drinks: i ordered sweet tea for both. However, Canes gave me Unsweetened tea. Not Great.
The fries and sauce: Canes fries were soft and soggy while Chik-fila's was crisp and crunchy.
The Chicken: Canes did the best by having larger juicier chicken meat. It had a good amount of sauce and I wish it had more. Chikfila's chicken was good but much smaller but more dense. Both were juicy abd great. In this case Canes was the better chicken.
Conclusion: Both were good and bad. Chikfila and Canes showed their Strength abd weaknesses at each establishment.
I cannot say one is definitly better than the other. I would be more inclined to recommend Canes if they could fix one of their 3 issues.
Both restaurants are...
Read moreI’ve heard a lot about canes but had never actually been to one, so I said why not.. I will say there isn’t a lot to the menu but so what! The chicken and sauce were to die for! The manager on duty told me to mix a packet of Louisiana hot sauce in the my sauce when I asked if they had hot sauce and omg I am hooked! The prices are a little high but from what the manager was telling me was their product including chicken is same day. No heat lamps or anything like that.. it’s cooked to order. Little to no wait in a lobby full of people and condiments were fully stocked and cleaned. I would say canes is right there with Chick-fil-A when it comes to customer service but they aren’t eager to just push you out the line, both the cashier Abbie and manager Casey spoke with me directly about more then just what can I get you! I will be back and I’ll bring my whole...
Read moreDon't get me wrong the chicken is great. Here is what I observed though. Very limited menu, actually I don't think they have anything but strips do they. No dressings besides their own or honey mustard. (I was going to get the sandwich but they didn't have mayonnaise) (I wanted gravy, they don't have it. Really?) (I asked for ranch they do not have it). Whoever designed that place was not too smart. The lids to the drinks are with the salt pepper and ketchup. So if you are getting something over there you have to wait a very long time to get it. They should have a topper for the drink machine with lids and straws on it. Customer service is not near the quality of Chick-fil-A. The kids meal seems expensive to me, but I am...
