I love to try pizza when I travel to new states because pizza is my favorite food. This place had great reviews, so I gave it a go. It was probably in the top 5 worst service experiences of my life. 1. When my son and I came in, no one greeted us. We awkwardly stood and waited in the tight front area for about 3-5 minutes until someone asked “what can I do for you?” That phrasing threw me off - it’s just an awkward question. Instead, saying “how can I help you?” or more pointed question like “are you picking up or would you like to dine in?” would be better. 2. After we sat, we waited some more for someone to take our drink and food order - probably another 3-5 minutes. I didn’t get the impression this place was busy because workers stood around and talked to each other. 3. Our food took quite some time - that’s fine, we got a Detroit style pizza. But after the food came out, no one refilled our drinks or checked on us, except to ask if we wanted a box. 4. After we were very obviously done — like I stacked our plates and trash and then stared at the FIVE people standing and talking to each other — we finally got our check. But I probably waited like 10 or more minutes for that after we were done. I mean — I would honestly say that it took 10 minutes to eat and an hour of just waiting for anything. No one was just downright rude, but it definitely felt like employees went out of their way to not check on us. I would give our pizza - The Barry - a 7.5 out of 10. Sweet, the basil was great, but it was a little doughy. It is supposed to have hot honey, but it just tasted like honey. Nothing was spicy. I did also like the paper on the table with crayons. But it was obvious to me that is done intentionally to distract people from the long waiting. Any way, I’m glad I live out of state because service in Oklahoma is much, much better.

Kind of disappointing pizza. I got a half and half, wild mushroom and the Thai chicken. Seemed to be undercooked, the crust was gummy. The flavor was there, but not up to their high standards. One person taking care of the front and she kept avoiding me. Had to move several times to get her to stop. Must have been an off Thursday evening. UPDATE: July 17th, back to their high standards. Got another half/half pizza, spicy pickle and the angry dragon with a walnut and pear salad. All of it was flavorable and the crust was perfect. Even our kitty Kat was trying to steal a piece.

Was recently visiting from Winnipeg, and glad we had dinner here. Excellent pizzas, the dough was stand out. So many fun, inventive toppings. We want to try the Detroit style next time, they just sold out before we got there. I had 2 8-inch pizzas so I could try 2 kinds. I had one with blue cheese and steak, and that was delicious. Great service. Flights of beer come in 6 and are smaller portions each than other flights I've had. The peanut butter porter was well worth a try. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting and looking for somewhere with character.

Delivery is more of a nice idea than an actual service. Was told at 8:30 that we are done for night. When I expressed dismay I was told that "Well we don't want to mess with it" They won't ever get the chance to get my $ again....A hell of a way to run a business..PS my friend who had told me about place urged me to try again...so I did..here is what transpired. I ordered a Magherita pizza with wild mushrooms, the girl on phone asked if I wanted button or portabellos..I explained that neither were "wild" I expected "wild"..chantrelles,wood,morels..you know wild mushrooms...No they have their own definition of wild mushroom, which has nothing to with reality . I asked 3 times for pizza to be well done " cheese browned" it came raw..$25 for a medium with no meat...I paid, opened box..called back and explained that at $25 for a medium pizza I expected it cooked properly...she explained that they had ran it thru conveyor oven twice..Are you kidding me? those prices advertising gourmet pizza using a conveyor oven? The second pizza was delivered was the same as first "Dominos Quality and undercooked" The delivery guy was kind enough to refund my $25 and take both pizzas back.what an overpriced joke...PSS..Ordered from "DEEKS" great pizza,Great price and cooked properly( at 1/2 the...

My issue is that the website says you have all of these vegan options, and... you don't. We were told maybe the Fargo location, but not here in Grand Forks.

We confirmed, it, the grand forks menu on the website definitely does not reflect what is in house to this day.

We gathered to have my husband's going away party, and it took our 8 inch pizzas an hour to come out. Mine took longer because I requested no cheese and two toppings, and they messed up and made the first one with cheese.

While the pizza was actually good, this was my first time here, and will be my last, even if we were staying in North Dudkota.

Please, update your website to reflect what you actually have so those of us with several food allergies can know where to go.

Our server was great, the kids they seated next to us were LOUD, but they were kids so I'm not gonna fault that.

Quite pricey for the amount of food...
