The first experience here was awesome. The service was quick and friendly with lots of smiles. The food was delicious and very pleasing. The crab cakes and omelet were perfection. Kudos to the chef! The parmesan garlic breakfast potatoes were perfect. It's definitely a place to visit if you want to try upscale food without beaking the bank. A a must try, the Bloody Mary. We'll balanced with spicy, salty, tangy and sweet. How can you go wrong with candied bacon? UPDATE: Mar 24th, still the best Bloody Mary in GF. Homemade spicy tomato juice, fantastic candied bacon, and the pickle puts it over the top. The eggs benedict was awesome and the capicolla ham was the perfect marriage. The omelet was fluffy and the ham, cheese and mushrooms were mixed and not folded. Mixing ensured you got something in every bite. Haven't tried the dinner menu yet, but its in the plan. AUG 3rd, very enjoyable breakfast. The crab cakes are wonderful and they hit the spot. Tried the salmon omelet and it was amazing. Fluffy eggs, the smoke salmon was perfect, just the right amount of cheese, and the scallions was the perfect hint of freshness. Service was outstanding and very pleasant. Add this to your food stops, it's a "can't miss" location.

1st and foremost, hugh props to the cooks here, the food was excellent and up to the quality I would expect from this type of restaurant. Went here Saturday at 7 to try it out since they recently reopened. Was checked in and taken to our table and told our server would be there quickly, about 10 minutes go by, and the same person comes and takes our drink and appetizer order. 15-20 minutes later, we get our drinks and appetizer and put in our food order. Our waitress now comes to see if we needed anything to which we got another drink. Ordered desert and once finished the entire dinner took over 2 1/2 hours, food came out quick but the service was one of the worst I've seen in a restaurant of this quality. Granted sometimes its expected to be alittle slower but this was just bad, there was no direction, servers all over not even bothering with customers just not good. The kicker is when we got the bill we normally don't even look at it but it had another tables drinks that left added on to it, and the waitress says o so sorry about that it's been really busy and has happened a few times tonight already(it wasn't that busy).

I came here for brunch because I had heard some good things about this place. But honestly the food was tasteless. The chiken i got came with bell peppers and onions. But you can tell its quite old. They didn't prepare anything from scratch. The beans and rice are made in bulk for the whole day, which is understandable. But the chicken could have been cooked to order. The veggies lose there crunch and the texture is weird. I asked for salt and pepper and she brought me a salt shaker that had the holes clogged. So the salt can't come out. She seen me and didn't even offer to bring me a different one. I almost felt like a was a burden to her. Does she not know that she works for tips. She has to earn the tip. Its not a given. I usually tip 10 percent regarless of how horrible the service was and from there I go up according to how my service went. I tip 40% quite a bit. But unfortunately not today. I will give it another try and come for dinner. Maybe that will be bettered prepared.

We went on a date here one Saturday evening. We had made a reservation and were seated immediately. The table had a beautiful view of downtown and the restaurant was very clean. Our first impression was great but it kind of went downhill after that. No server came to our table for 15 min. Then when he arrived he said there had been a mixup. Understandable and we were in no hurry so we let it go. Then, we ordered our drinks and he brought us bread. Delicious. We got one lemonade and one glass of wine. Then he came back and told us the specials. We both ordered one. Mine was a chicken gnocchi dish that ended up being excessively spicy which surprised me since it was one of 2 available specials. So spicy that I was hurting because my water was out. We waited and waited and the server didn’t come for 15-20 min. He finally came back and I’d quit eating at that point because it was too spicy to eat without water and we had none. He came back and asked if we needed boxes. I said yes but asked for water to which he replied, “where is your carafe?” We said we never had one and he looked surprised… but he never brought us one? So I didn’t even get to enjoy my meal. He brought us water. My husband said his steak was good but not great. For the price, we would’ve expected great. We decided to try the chocolate Crème brûlée which was fantastic, but we were disappointed we didn’t get to see them set it aflame! Also during the meal, another service dropped an entire tray of dishes right next to our table. Broken dishes everywhere… a big commotion that kills a romance vibe! Overall, not horrible but not somewhere we will...

The hostess that worked on October 19@6:40 didn’t even record my reservation for October 22@6:30 for a party of 4. It was my daughters 21st birthday and she even told me that she will write a note recording her birthday. We get there and tell the gentleman that we are the party of 4 @6:30 . He starts looking and tells me that he doesn’t see it . I asked him “ this is the only Skys restaurant here right ? He keeps looking then He tells me there is a reservation for a party of 12 @ 6:30 . Then he tells me we have a table top for 4 at the bar , you can sit there . Im like “No “ I called and a girl answered and took my reservation. He didn’t even try to make it happen instead he says . You can try other restaurants. So I’m wondering if they bumped my reservation for the party of 12. The guy didn’t even try to make room for us, especially when it’s their fault . He suggested Harry’s . What are the chances that they will have room for us when this restaurant is booked ? Obviously he wasn’t going to make it happen. We go across the street to Harry’s and told them what happened to us at Sky’s and they made it happened being that they were also booked. Go to Harry’s I totally RECOMMEND it . The food was so yummy and the service. The hostess that helped us was so generous and made my daughters 21st birthday night. My daughter was so happy. She even added a birthday sign on the table . Very...
