Downtown Axe — Restaurant in Grand Forks

Birthday fun! Four of us went for 2 hours and it was a perfect amount of time. We all agreed that by 1 hour we were just really getting into it, especially since it was all of our first time. Staff did great showing us how to throw and explaining rules. They were also great at checking on us. It’s easy and fun to connect with the groups next to you. Everyone is supportive and encouraging. FYI no hard liquor and pay attention the axe can bounce back towards you if it doesn’t stick in the board. Also you can get a throwing star to use too. We had a large group go axe throwing for my birthday and it was a great time! Carrie, Jake and team were all friendly and helped provide a great experience for all. Great communications with Jake to help accommodate the large group. With every new business/new systems, things can happen but Jake and Carrie were great to work with! I had never been axe throwing before and I actually ended up being pretty good. Fun to try throwing the "ninja star" in addition to the axe -- but I wasn't any good with that one! HA! We will definitely be back again soon! Can't wait!...

We were visiting from out of town and wanted to have an adventure. This was our first time throwing Axes but found it easy to learn. Within 15 mins we were playing 21 with stars & Axes. Lol, My business partner was a bullseye master! Downtown Axe has a Great atmosphere and friendly people. We had an exceptional experience. Owners were knowledgeable and provided through training. I highly recommend this experience and hope to return to ND soon to...
