This place got my attention right out of the gate. Tucked away inside The Brass Rail Tavern on 28 road is the window of goodness. Mike has my order waiting. Fresh made and hot is my incredible (plate size) pork tenderloin sandwich, cheese burger and fries. You need to see the actual size of this delicious pork Sammy. Our hamburger had fresh hamburger which is getting harder and harder to find these days with the ease of the frozen prepared patty. Hand cut fries? Who does that anymore? These people do and do it really well, oh and the sour cream tater salad is freaking awesome. Definitely going back soon. Highly Recommended / 5 stars. Popped in here on our roadtrip based on the reviews. Phenomenal tenderloin sandwiches. Better than Culver’s.

We had the Badger and the Hawkeye and both were crispy and juicy inside and the sauerkraut was perfectly matched with Badger.

We called our order in and the guy behind the counter made sure our fries were hot when we picked up our order. They were cooked to perfection.

This place is so amazing!! Tucked inside the Brass Rail, their food is WAY above your typical bar food fare. Even though it is a pretty meat-heavy, BBQ focused menu, they went out of their way to accommodate my being vegan and gluten free. I ate so much I was stuffed and the salad they made was AMAZING. I would come here just to eat, even if I wasn't in the mood for drinking, pool and horse shoes. These guys are so nice, great service, amazing food....
