Jimmy's Burgers — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

I kinda had high hopes for this place but it didn't work out. It looks like I should've heeded the warnings of the few people that didn't write a good review of this place. I smelled a slight sewage odor apon walking around to the front entrance of the place. That looks should've been the first sign that I should've turned away! But I walked in anyway. Cashier was polite and assisted the other Cashier in placing order correctly. The dining area was clean and not too crowded. The restroom was also clean and I liked how the sink ,soap dispenser, and paper towels were situated outside of the restrooms so you wouldn't have to touch the doors after leaving the restrooms. My order to go was brought out to me fresh and hot. The fries were ok and so would've been the burger if it weren't overly seasoned with salt and other seasonings. Would be nice if the customer was in charge of adding their own seasonings. Guess it's something that I'll have to remind them of, to go lightly on seasonings or not add at all ! Let’s get straight to the point—Jimmy’s Burgers are ridiculously good. Like, “rethink all your past burger choices” good. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. And the curly fries? Absolute perfection. Whoever is in charge of seasoning them is doing the Lord’s work.

My friend got the chili cheese fries, which were also top-tier, but by the time he was done, his plate looked like a crime scene. He claims it was worth it. His dignity says otherwise.

Now, the bathroom situation. Oh boy. You don’t just go to the bathroom at Jimmy’s—you perform. The sink and hand dryer are in the hallway, so the second you dry your hands, the entire restaurant hears a jet engine firing up. Conversations pause, heads turn, and for a brief moment, you are the main event. It’s a humbling experience.

There’s even a secret entrance to the toilet in the men’s restaurant. It was cute.

But honestly? Worth it. I’d shout over a hand dryer for these...

First time coming here, and I have to say the food was delicious! Both my partner and I were extremely pleased coming across this place. Not only was the food amazing, the portions were insanely huge. Our burgers were HUGE and filled to the brim with toppings. We mistakenly ordered a side of fried pickles as we were unaware how much food we’d be getting, but I have to say the fried pickles were probably the best I’ve had in ages! The girl at the register was extremely friendly and helpful answering any questions we had and gave me a great recommendation for which burger to try based off her personal taste and it definitely did not disappoint. So if you love spicy, then order the Michael, cause it’s chocked full of habanero peppers. Also, I was gagged at the prices.
