Kindled a new appreciation for Five Guys!
I had been to another location before and was impressed with the burger, but offset by the price. I have since been on a mission to find the best burger, understand what makes burgers great, and understand a lot better now that Five Guys has an amazing thing going.
Double Cheeseburger: One of the best I’ve had (and I have had a lot of them)! Juicy, tasty, and high quality meat. The cheese was not fully melted, but everything else was spot on! I can see better now why they are popular. It is a GREAT VALUE for the price (though it is a bit more expensive). Gastropubs I’ve visited are not this good and they charge more.
Service: Quick and a bit pressured, but focusing on efficiency. Their burgers take a bit longer to get, but it is so worth it! They make everything to order and you are not left with stale food. They were very clear whose order was up, too.
Atmosphere: The decor hearkens back to the 50’s, but is modern enough. The walls are littered with official magazine covers and articles reviewing their awesome burgers, displaying their pride. There isn’t a ton of seating, but enough. It’s not meant to be a long visit with a friend.
Bathroom was clean and new, though the paper towel dispenser didn’t dispense very quickly.

Read moreYou know it wasn't the normal five guys experience normally everything is fine This time the fry seemed a bit limp more than normal and my burger was a little soggy I think that has a lot to do with a tin foil creates a lot of moisture inside there not sure but they won't change it. Also two or three tables were out of service like they have nobody to fix them when they're broken and they didn't bother to rearrange the other tables for better seating arrangement. But the shake was good I'm sure next month if I get around to going there it'll be better. I think due to lack self-esteem when it comes to workers these days especially in restaurants. Most people have figured out that the better jobs are not in the food industry and have left and nobody else wants to pick up the slack and I can't blame them as soon as I was 18 I didn't work in food places either. There is one thing I really want to know why are five guys french fries not crispy whatsoever they're always limp The only thing kind of good about it is they give you a ton of them You can take them home throw in the air fryer and hey you've made good fries. So listen up five guys work on the French fries just giving us a bunch of them doesn't mean they're good The burgers on the other hand I like. Wow that got long...
Read moreQuite annoyed at the Five Guys employees. Went with my 7yr old daughter. Apparently Five Guys does not have cups more appropriately sized for little kids. I told the guy at the register to “charge me for a regular size but give me a water cup. The regular size is too big for her”. I went to the soda machine and proceeded to fill it with Hi-C and the manager yelled across the restaurant from the grill “EXCUSE ME MA’AM! THAT CUP IS FOR WATER ONLY!” The whole dining room turned to look at me… as if my motive was to steal $3 of Hi-C. I told her I paid for regular but asked for the water cup size. Then she looked at the other employee and says “He only charged you for the 1 regular cup, not another one”. I checked my receipt and that was correct. He only charged me for my 1 regular, not the second I replaced with a water cup for my daughter. So I told her “no problem! I’ll pay for the other cup… I thought I already did!” All is fine and well and I paid for my other cup, but do managers need to yell across the restaurant over a cup of juice?? She might’ve saved Five Guys from a $3 loss, but she cost Five Guys all of my future sales at that location. Totally unpleasant experience that could’ve been handled very...
