Z's Bar: A Hidden Gem in a Quaint Village Last night, I stumbled upon a charming little bar in a quiet village, and I couldn't resist the urge to write a review about my experience at Z's. Despite my initial intention to have a quick whiskey and coke and get some sleep for work the next day, I ended up having a wonderful time that I just had to share. Upon entering Z's, I was immediately struck by the inviting atmosphere. The cozy dim lighting, comfortable seating, and the soft hum of conversations created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, were the incredible bartendresses who took care of us. Our friendly bartender, a knowledgeable and delightful gal, not only mixed a fantastic whiskey and coke but also went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable time. She regularly checked in on us, making us feel right at home. Her passion for the job and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident in every interaction we had with her. What made this visit even more enjoyable was her willingness to share some insider tips about the village. She told us about some cool places to visit, local events, and even recommended some must-try dishes in town. It felt like she genuinely cared about making our experience in the village more enriching, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. The combination of great drinks, an inviting atmosphere, and the wonderful bartendresses made me wish I could have spent more time in this charming village. Z's Bar is truly a hidden gem that captures the essence of hospitality, and I highly recommend anyone passing through to stop by and soak in the delightful atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a quick drink or a memorable evening, Z's is the place to be. I can't wait for my next opportunity to return.

This was perhaps the most mediocre meal I've had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and my order was accurate, but of our party of 6, only one person left feeling like the food that was promised was the food he got. Based on reviews and the hostess when we arrived we ordered: wings, pork nachos, pizza, a wet burrito, ribs and the burger. The burger was the clear winner: large and tasty. The wings were crispy, but the meat was fatty and tasted old (like they were frozen and packaged somewhere last year) that compounded with the fact they are some of the most expensive wings I've bought at a restaurant made it a regrettable purchase. The pork on the nachos was dry and also tasted like it was made earlier that week, which leads us to the ribs, which I'm told were dry, but at least tender. The 2 people that ordered the burrito felt it was fine at best. We got 2 pizzas, a deluxe and a pepperoni. The deluxe was the better of the 2, cooked perhaps longer than the underdone-tasting pepperoni pizza... But neither were particularly good. I feel empathy for restaurants who maybe aren't getting as many customers now as they're used to, but I feel like we were taken advantage of (based on the many glowing reviews of their food) by being served old meat prepared days before, and overpriced frozen wings. That or the other reviewers were just drunk which elevated their experience. I would love to give them another shot, but the price for quality gives me hesitation. I wish the best for them, honestly, but felt I needed to leave an honest review for how expensive and hyped up the meal was.

This review is strictly on their chicken wings, nothing else. If you’re looking for good chicken wings then look elsewhere. $21 for a dozen wings that have got to be the tiniest, absolutely smallest wings I’ve ever seen. Even with the breaded coating they are tiny. If they offered naked wings they would look like they came off of a Cornish hen. I had to take some photos just to document the comically small size of these wings. In one photo you can see the drumstick bone next to a standard wet wipe pack for size reference. In another photo you can see a chicken “chunk”. Not quite a drumstick, not quite a flat. There was probably more breading than actual chicken meat on these things. This place should seriously consider getting a new supplier for their wings, or lower the price. Have always enjoyed coming to Z’s, but this is the first and last time ordering wings.

Terrible service and overall experience. Won’t be back again.

Walked in late night for some drinks, was not greeted or spoken to so found our own place to sit. We walked past many empty tables/seats/booths that were dirty and had dishes left on them, we finally thought we found a clean booth only to sit down and the table was dirty. Our server really didn’t listen to things we ordered, or seem to really care or take serious simple things like extra napkins we asked for. When a woman who seemed to possibly be a manager only because she wasn’t serving tables and was in different clothes brought us our food she just dropped the items off and left. We ordered Buffalo Chicken rolls for an app and then a Deluxe pizza . Our Buffalo chicken rolls came out in a to go box at the same time as our pizza. Our deluxe pizza didn’t have the green peppers on it as well. When the woman came by we asked about the to go rolls and said we didn’t order and she responded “well that’s what the ticket said”, then we asked about our pizza not being deluxe and she said” yeah we’re out of green peppers and you’d server should have told you that.” We then asked our Server politely why he didn’t mention this and he said” I didn’t know, no one told me.” Very disappointing that we could not even get the items we ordered or at least told items that they were out of so we could at least make a different choice if we desired. We watched the woman after walking around with straw in her mouth behind bar and restaurant area , as well as our server and her laugh about the treatment they gave our table. Pretty sad a well known downtown establishment like Z’s can’t even give basic quality customer service or show the slightest type of professionalism or pride in their business. Definitely not worth supporting or wasting...
