Got to love when the Popeyes employee call you the "N" word. I was visiting the Grandview, MO store tonight and entered the drive thru line at 8:54 PM with 6 cars ahead of me. I was waiting with no option to pull out due to the drive thru layout until 9:18 to order a chicken sandwich. At this point i was told they don't have any chicken sandwiches to sell. This was the 2nd time this has happened. There were now still two cars ahead of me which means they took 24 minutes to take care of 4 cars which seems to be extremely slow in comparison to every other fast food drive thru line I've ever been through. I was finally at the window and asked to speak to the manager at 9:28 which means I've been waiting 34 minutes in this line for a whole 6 customers to be waited on. The employee then was confused about my order and was stating I had an order, I told him twice that I did not order anything since they do not have what I wanted. A manager came over at this point and asked me what was the problem. I told him I had been waiting in line for over 30 minutes with no option to get out of line, all to be told that they did not have chicken sandwiches to sell at that time. I told him it is very frustrating and they should put a sign at the beginning of the line letting people know they are out. They told me they just ran out an hour ago. I told them that was plenty of time to get a sign posted. I also asked them why they are taking over 30 minutes to get 6 cars waited on. There were 3 employees in total standing around the window listening to me and the manager at this time. Two of the three young employees, a young male and female, began defending there actions by yelling back at me that there is only 4 of them which in my opinion 4 employees to serve 6 customers is more than enough to stay effective as a productive restaurant. The young black male at that point then yelled at me calling me the "N" word. I can't imagine a reason that would allow an employee to call a customer the "N" word.. This is completely...
Read moreToday I sat in line for over 45 minutes and that’s not including the second time I had to pull around to be able to get my full order. The time wasn’t what made the experience awful it was how they treat paying customer after such a long wait. I ordered a total of 6 wings as a combo and was told I could only order a total of 4 wings per car load so I had to drive back around if I wanted to order more than 4 wings. Not only did I drive back around to fulfill my order the women working the window was incredibly rude. I asked for my receipt and she stated it was in the bag. When I arrived home I looked in both bags for both receipts for my separate orders I placed and a receipt was not found in either bag. I wanted the receipt so I could give a name to corporate on the awful service received by the woman working the window. She had awful customer service, she did not look at me during the entire service, she did not repeat my order after waiting almost an hour and we are missing the fires for our orders and when I asked for condiments she threw her arm out the window with the packets and did not once make eye contact or even say anything when handing it out the window. What an awful attitude to have at work. I received my order at 7pm on Saturday the 31st if this helps narrow who was working the window. The manager on duty was apologetic for being mis-informed on how much she was able to give out once I did speak with corporate but I am extremely unpleased with my experience at...
Read moreI visited this Popeyes on 5 Jan 2024 on my way home. I ordered an 8 piece family meal. I asked for all spicy pieces. I asked for mash potatoes and an extra serving of potatoes. When I got to the window, I told the older gentleman that was at the window how happy I was with the service since they opened up again. I would regret doing so. When I got home and took out the food, I found that I did not get even one breast piece. There should have been two. I got half spicy half regular. Not what I ordered. The worst part was when I started to eat what I thought was maybe a breast, it turned out to be a dried out nasty dark...ish meat. Maybe a thigh. I could not tell. It was so mangled and dried out that I really couldn't be sure it was chicken. The other larger piece that I hoped was a breast was also a mangled dried out mess too. It did have spots on it that could be white breast meat, but also had darker thigh meat. I'm guessing it was two pieces that had been put together and breaded as one piece. The pieces really looked to be rejects that probably got pushed aside all night until they got low and had to serve these to get the 8 pieces I ordered. I paid over $34 for what was the worst food I ever had served to me. Did the old crew from the old Popeyes return? Did they try to top their already poor service reputation? One positive I can give them... is the mesh potatoes were very good. I guess they can't screw...
