Seasons Restaurant — Restaurant in Grangeville

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, to be able to warn others, I have to at least give it a star. We were passing through Grangeville on our way to go camping and upon entering the restaurant we were not greeted. The waitresses made eye contact several times without saying anything to us. The sign right at the entrance said to seat ourselves. We looked throughout the restaurant and the only available tables were dirty. We were hungry and didn’t want to try to find anywhere else to eat in town since the town is small and restaurants are extremely scarce, so we chose to sit at a dirty table. We waited for 10 min and were eventually told by a waitress that she’d be with us in a minute. We waited another 10 min until a party of two walked in, seated themselves, and were immediately greeted and brought menus. We immediately left after that. Apparently, they only want local money and don’t like people who are not local. Hopefully people who are from out of town are treated better than we were, if you choose to eat here. Good luck at this...

Their service was amazing, and the staff was very knowledgeable too if things and quick despite it being a full house, their food could've been better, I was going to get a jalapeno burger but opt d for theushroom swiss bc I haven't had one in awhile, my gf and I got fries on the side (hers were Burnt) they weren't all that good, and the most remarkable thing about the mushroom swiss which was frankly lacking seasonings was for one the pickles they tried serving with it which in my personal opinion doesn't match the flavor profile at all and the lettuce they put on it which honestly drowned out most all the other flavors of the burger. We also tried getting one of their pumpkin pie milkshakes which was honestly more disappointing than their food, it wasn't bad but it only had a hint of pumpkin as if they put a singular small slice of pumpkin pie in a very large malted milkshake and I could actually feel the texture of the crust which was kinda enjoyable for the flavor but neither of us finished it and my gf loves pumpkin everything which is why we got it in...

We went to this restaurant with probably higher expectations than we should have. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly if not a little slow.

The food was where we had the letdown. It was not all bad; the garlic bread, sweet potato fries, and kids cheese burger were great and seasoned well. The humph was on the two main courses.

The tropical salad had no seasoning on the chicken and was a little dry. Their could have been a little more tropical to the salad than the dressing.

The fettuccine was a whole box of pasta and very little sauce. I had to ask for more sauce and cheese just to get any flavor other than noodles. The sauce itself needed more flavor, and the chicken was not grilled or seasoned. Overall, it was the biggest letdown of the meal.

To be clear, the place is not bad, just thought it would be a different dining experience...
