This is one of those places where the food tastes SO much better than it looks. My first time here, I ordered the pasta with chicken broth. It was delicious. The next day, I just had to go back, and this time I had a lunch special: Chow mein, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken were included in that. It tasted WAY better than the Chinese food you get at the usual chain places. I highly recommend you visit this place if you like tasty food, especially along the lines of pasta or Chinese food. I believe their Mexican food tastes great as well, but I did not try it. There are plenty of places to sit and the waitress lady was so nice; I had some wonderful conversations with her.

Where was the restaurant early inn my marriage when we couldn't agree what kind of food we wanted? Mexican? Chinese? Italian? American diner? They got it all. We only ate Chinese today and I think it's probably a Jack of all trades but master of none. At least everybody in the family will have something to choose.

Need inspiration for what you want for dinner? Can't agree on what kind of food to go out for? Want Chinese food with a side of French fries? Try the Melting Pot! It's got it all! I went for Chinese and an IPA tonight, and maybe tomorrow I'll go back for Italian, or a burger! Cheers!

We moved to Idaho from an area filled with Chinese restaurants, and we really missed it. We found one local Chinese restaurant that was OK, but not the quality we were used to. My hubby likes his lo mein very soft and they always made it al dente. When we found The Melting Pot, we were in 7th heaven. We've had several dishes, and while they weren't up to par with the 'big city' Chinese food, it was very, very good.

I've had two different combination plates, with the sweet and sour pork being better than the sweet and sour chicken. The lo mein is excellent. I'm not a big fan of fried rice, so I don't eat much of it, but my hubby says it's excellent. The egg drop soup has good flavor - my hubby's had lots of little tofu, mine had very little. I don't remember what dish my hubby had last time, but he was extremely impressed with it.

The staff is very friendly, the service very good, and the food...

This place was such a hidden gem. We were originally going to another spot, and the wife saw "Cafe!" so we stopped in. We had just finished our hike out from backpacking so we were famished.

I will say, looking at the menu can be a bit overwhelming, but I can assure you that you'll find something on there that meets your desires.

We got lunch combo specialty Lomein, sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Very very delicious.

I got the opposite side of the world and I got fajitas. The steak was SO FREAKING TASTY! The fajita veggies had the perfect amount of crisp and burn. Im quite particular about my fajitas as a Hispanic man and these are up to par.

If youre wondering where to eat when passing through, go here please. I definitely...

We stopped here on the way through town about 2:30 in the afternoon, mid-week. Although we were some of the only customers at that time, the service and food were wonderful. The waitress was very friendly; just as you would imagine small town service to be. She would check our table often and anticipate our needs. The restaurant serves a variety of cuisines (Italian, Mexican, American, Chinese) but we ordered Mexican dishes and have an idea that is their specialty. Two of our party had fajitas and they were fresh and hot. I ordered a few side items grilled mushrooms, avocado and pinto beans( vegan) and they were all done nicely. We will definitely stop here again and...
