Hands down one of the BEST food truck experiences we’ve ever had! El Callejón is the real deal. From the moment we walked up, the owner greeted us like family — seriously one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. His customer service was next-level… you can tell he takes real pride in what they do, and it shows. And the food? Incredible. His wife is the mastermind in the kitchen, and every single bite was packed with flavor. You can taste the love and tradition in every dish. It’s that kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. This isn’t just a food truck — it’s a full experience. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re bringing more friends. Can’t recommend El Callejón enough!

EDIT( I got the Chile rellono burrito and I 100% recommend it) Really nice people I got the el callejon burrito it was not very good but it was close to closing time so I'm guessing that's the reason my brother says the chile rellono burrito is good edit: I got the Chile rellono burrito and it is really good 100% recommend but be warned the hot sauce they give you for it is really spicy only put like a small drop per bite to see how spicy it is don't be adding a whole bunch the first time cause it's really spicy

Everything is good!! Speedy and Margarita are wonderful. Prices are average. You cannot get better homecooked Mexican food around here! My favorites are Pollo asado tostada, tamales and when available the Albondigas. All their drinks like Horchata, aguas are delicious. Margarita doesn't cook w lard which is great for me who doesn't eat pork so I can enjoy dishes I am normally not able to.

🌮 El Callejon: A Hidden Gem in Grants Pass 🌮

If you're looking for some of the best Mexican food in Grants Pass, look no further than El Callejon! This vibrant orange food truck is hard to miss, and once you arrive, you'll be welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels just like home.

El Callejon is run by the delightful husband-and-wife duo, Margarita and Francisco. Margarita is a true gem; her passion for food shines through in every dish she creates. She has a caring, motherly energy that makes you feel like part of the family. Not only is she sweet and approachable, but she also specializes orders to your liking, ensuring that every meal is tailored just for you.

Francisco adds to the charm with his outgoing personality. He greets you with a smile and loves to joke around, making the experience feel even more personal. They genuinely care about getting to know their customers, and they make an effort to remember everyone’s favorite orders.

The outdoor seating area, complete with picnic tables and lovely plants, provides a delightful space to enjoy your meal. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the delicious food while soaking up the sun.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, El Callejon is a must-visit. The combination of fantastic food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it stand out as a true treasure in the community. I can't recommend it...

If you are looking for signs this place might suck, you are already in peril. I was hooked by the positive reviews, but I bet none of those reviewers tried the chicken. Ugh, the chicken. The soup part was great, but the chicken that lurked at the bottom of the bowl tasted like it was grilled three days ago and left on a steam table. Maybe this is traditional, but I will give up a little authenticity for some edibility. My god, this was bad. I would have guessed that for $15 you could deliver a decent bowl of soup. This is the kind of thing you would feed your dog, but only if the poor animal just destroyed a couch. My first visit was brutal, and it...
