Probably the worst Chipotle experience I've had. It is a 30 minute drive from home, so, it is supposed to be a special treat for my daughter who really likes Chipotle. My wife ordered online while I was on my way with no hint that there would be any problem. When I arrived, they had no record of the order, eventually explaining that their system had been down "all day". If the system is down for that long, just don't accept an online order, other companies can manage that. I had to get my wife to take a screenshot of the order and e-mail it to me. It was a family order, so it was kind of long and the text resolution didn't quite zoom in enough. Then go through the regular line. Again, had we known that online ordering wouldn't work, and if we still really wanted Chipotle, we could have just done it the old-fashioned way and write down everyone's order before leaving to go order it. Finally, thinking that this was a manager calling moment, I grabbed the card by the register "Stephanie Phillips - Manager, General" and called the number ending 4519 and a man answered with a hello, when I asked for Stephanie Philipps, he said I must have the wrong number. With all of that, OK, I get it, systems go down, but the staff treated me like it was my problem. As if it was my fault for ordering online, and not only that, but something also I had to fix for them.
We recently moved to the area from the DC Suburbs, Chipotle was a 3-minute trip, can't always say the service was good, but at least acceptable. Even at the big chains, restaurant service in this area has been generally better than the DC suburbs, this...
Read moreVisited 1/1/24 at 830pm at the University Towne Center. The redhead girl behind the counter was so rude. She sighed and acted an oyed when I and the other customers walked up to order. She did not great me and when I smiled and said I how are you She complained about working. I asked if there was still white rice without cilantro she said she would check again acting annoyed. She then asked what else I wanted even though I had already told her. Then after making half my burrito she told me they ran out of salsa and cheese. I said I'm sorry I can't eat it without cheese. Then went to leave but told the other people in line what they were out of since there was no sign and no one was being told before ordering. Please please please stop making your problems your customers problems. If you hate your job quit, if you had a bad day call off, if you can't smile and be a decent human being then asked to work in the back away from customers. I work 3 jobs just to survive, I work in retail, customer service, and food. If I can stay positive and smile at everyone for 12 ours 6 days a week so can you. Understand that you're getting paid to have at least some level of professionalism and curtesy to the people who frequent your establishment. I'm about to drive to the downtown location and hope I get...
Read moreI've tried so hard with this Chipotle. I've been a customer of various Chipotles for a long time. There is a night time manager who works here who is so nice and makes sure that everything is good. I had ordered something online once and when I got to the store they didn't have it and she knocked it out of the park making me something else. But this place just is awful. I've seen management yell at the young lady with special needs in front of customers. I've had a staff person yell at me because she didn't know how to work the computer and log my purchase on my app. The food I received today was awful. I was grateful my burrito was free because if I had had to pay for it I would have been so mad. It wasn't even half full. Then after I ate, since I decided this is my last visit to this Chipotle I decided to use my last coupon for something free and the manager at the register wasn't going to take it at first. Just really disappointed with this place. I will pop in soon to see the nice manager because one time I went in after work and she said it had been a long time and asked how I'd been. But anymore I just can't. Food quality, customer service, and even just coworker to coworker respect doesn't exist here and I'd rather spend my...
