Atmosphere- 4 stars- very nice and roomy restaurant. Lots of tables, full bar and nice outdoor eating area. Wanted to really like this restaurant but sadly this wasn’t the case.
Service- 4 stars- everyone was very friendly and our waiter was very attentive.
Food- 3 stars- everything leading up to this was great until the food came:(. Started with the chips and salsa which were very good. I liked the salsa because it has a bit of a kick to it however once we got our entrees it all went downhill. I love Mexican food probably one of my favorite types of food and mostly enjoy most Mexican restaurants. I got the combo #4 which was two beef tacos, a beef enchilada and Chile Con Queso. The tacos were so bland and watery. The beef had very little seasoning. The consistency of the beef was watery which made it messy to eat. The Enchilada was wasn’t much better but at least the Enchilada sauce gave it a little more flavor. The Chile Con Queso was the best thing on the plate and that’s because of the cheese. Beautiful restaurant but food is not the top priority here. I cannot recommend this...
Read moreI had to share our experience at Los Mariachis last night. My girlfriend and I went for dinner. She ordered something that was spicy, unknowingly, which was prepared well and looked quite good. She couldn't handle the spice so we ordered steak fajitas for her and told the staff that we would pay for the meal that was too spicy because they prepared it just as it was supposed to be. The staff was great about it and joked around with her a little about it and brought out her steak fajitas in what seemed like 3 minutes which were incredibly good. I got chicken fajitas which were also incredibly good. When it came time to pay the bill the spicy meal was not on there even though we had it with us in a to go container. I told them I wanted to pay for it since it was not their fault in any way but the waiter simply said they refused to charge us for something we didn't like. That is great customer service and we...
Read moreWe were looking for a good place to eat at our stop over in WV, very glad we stumbled upon this place.
We are big fans of authentic mexican food and this place did not disappoint! We tried the quesobirria, carnitas, enchiladas etc and everything was fantastic. The portions were really good and the prices were excellent compared to the quality of food and the portion sizes. They have an extensive menu so you will absolutely find something for everyone, we were also really surprised and pleased with the kids menu which was great and offered really nice portion sizes too. We were all big fans of the unlimited chips and salsa they give you when you sit down.
The restaurant had a great vibe, service was very friendly and really quick. We will definitely be stopping here again next time we pass through, and recommend anyone else to do the same! I don’t often give out 5 stars but this place...
