My fiancé ordered through the McDonald’s app on his phone, and I went to pick the food up. I had the order number and also told the cashier what name the order was under. The cashier (seemed as if she was being trained) went and told a manager who rudely yelled that she needed to learn to do online orders by herself. This manager then proceeded to ask me what the order information was without showing the new employee. Then she said she couldn’t find the order so a man came over and again asked me. He said he couldn’t find it either so he asked if I ordered on my phone and I told him my fiancé ordered on his, but I had the information. He said my fiancé’s phone had to physically be in the store and when I asked why, his response was “we don’t make the app.” I then told him he already paid and he said rudely “he has to come to the store, that’s not my problem.” I then said “there’s no reason to be rude”, and he responded “have a nice day” in a sarcastic tone and walked away from me. My fiancé ended up calling and the woman who originally tried to find the order, entered it in manually which could have just been done from the beginning. I understand businesses get busy but there is no reason to be so rude to customers. This location will be closed for remodeling for the next week and I think they should also work on “remodeling” their employees. What an...
Read moreAwful. I work a mile away from here so sometimes I try to get a quick breakfast. My order has never been right, not a single time. This morning was the last straw. After being handed the wrong order once again, I politely told the cashier that the order was wrong and I showed her my receipt. She gave me a second bag of food (a simple, plain, egg sandwich) and it was correct, but burnt beyond being edible. I thought it was a joke. I politely asked for my money back and she seemed irritated by that and walked away. I pulled out the sandwich and asked if she would like to eat something burnt like that, several other customers made comments and 1 other customer even left before ordering because they said they'd "rather get Starbucks nearby than anything at this place if that's what they're selling." I've worked in fast food, I know it can get incredibly busy during a morning or afternoon rush, especially in the middle of the night when there are only two people on shift and the drunk college kids show up...but you don't give out inedible food to someone, especially if they were polite when interacting with you. Avoid this chain location...
Read moreWent through the the drive thru this evening with a mobile order and this lady who took my code didn’t even give me a chance to add another order, so we waited at the drive thru trying to talk to her, but she wouldn’t answer us. She then got on the intercom and told us we better pull up to the window or my food is gonna get cold (in a nasty attitude.) Then pulled up to the window and she practically threw the food at us. Also when I pulled up to the window I recognized her because I’ve had problems with her previously. The first time I ran into her she told me she didn’t have my food and was yelling at me that I must’ve never ordered it even though I had the receipt that was given to me at the front window, so I had to walk inside and ask the other workers and they had no problem getting my order. All I can say is that she is definitely miserable at her job and should be fired. I’m sure i’m not the only one with this experience. We went to another mcdonald’s because we were not about to deal with...
