We come here everytime we are visiting the Grapevine mall. Upwards 3 times a month. Food is not great, just good. Which is ok sometimes. Service is typically awful or below average. We solely return for the atmosphere. It has a nice open dining feel, and then there's the convenience of their location inside the mall. I just would not order anything outside of fajitas, margarita chicken, chicken tortilla soup, or chicken crispers. Steak is ok if you set low standards, I mean, it's not a steak restaurant but still, it should somewhat match the price. Even then, they somehow fail to serve food the same quality as other Chili's. Like my fajitas this time, veggies were fairly raw underneath and they are supposed to come sizzling.
Most everything else has consistently disappointed us here. Ribs, steaks, burgers, salads, cheese fries, nachos, wings, salmon, cajun chicken pasta, the list goes on and some of those used to be our go-to.
Don't expect to have somewhere to sit while you wait for a table. Be sure to be on top of your phone for their "table ready" notification, they don't wait long to give up your spot. Their communication both customer facing and internally is horrible. We ask for a booth every time and every time they try to sit us at a table... It's a cramped place so having to walk through there unnecessarily is aggravating. They kind of seem to always be running out of things and are incredibly inconsistent with the food quality. Most times it's little things you can work-around but one time they ran out of shrimp. Of course they aren't going to tell you they're out of anything before you have to wait to be seated and wait to order. Inconsiderate business or poor communication here.
A good thing did happen once, they had ran out of fruit gummies to put in special drinks but this was the ONE time we had a good server. He did not charge full price for the special drink, we did not make any comments, expect it, or notice until we got the bill. Very kind of him - big tip for him. He also ensured our kids were well taken care of throughout thw entire meal. Even bigger tip for him! Other servers have acted like they forgot about us, fail to check on us, fail to listen to our instructions, or have poor customer service skills. If we give you our kids order first and an appetizer, kindly request you put it in first, and kindly ask for it to be brought out before our meal, it should not be arriving to the table the same time as our meals we took 15 min later and be cold!
If you've been out of shrimp or other ingredients all day but don't advise anyone prior to waiting 25 min for a table and 10 min to be seen/order, we wouldn't be so upset at the...

Problems: My wife ordered a “$10 for me” meal and she ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. When the food came out it had shrimp instead of chicken! We felt a little bad, but we sent it back.
When the food came back, the kitchen server said “we had made a mistake and switched your order with someone else” We quickly found out that was a lie. Since there was still a piece of shrimp on the noodles. They had just removed the shrimp and added chicken and said they had made a new order! Thankfully my wife is not allergic to shrimp!
We sent it back again, because it also had tomatoes on it. My wife specifically requested to have green onions and no tomatoes. Now it came back and it was finally right.
After finishing our meal, my wife’s cousin wanted to see the bill. We saw that they overcharged us. We were charged twice for my wife’s meal!
When we brought it up to the waiter, he said it was a mistake. And he said they would comp the doubled $16.99 meal. We found out after he came back that he comped my $10.99 meal, which was cheaper. We were being overcharged. This was a mistake!
When we politely showed our waiter the bill, he said it was fine and that it was correct. We know it was a mistake, because our cousins ordered the same 2 meals as my wife and I and their bill was cheaper than ours.
We asked a manager and he said he would look at it. And he corrected the mistake.
Our cousin saw the manager pull our waiter aside to talk. And she saw them laughing. This was highly unprofessional! We did not get an apology from either the manager or the waiter.

Read moreCame here with my brother and waited to be seated. It was half empty inside, workers saw we were waiting, no one in line not packed inside. No one was coming though eye contact kept being made my brother walks in "Sir! We will seat you down up at the front buddy". We are still waiting then get finally get seated. I ask our waitress do they not have anyone seating people up at the front? She says "excuse me?" I then say it took so long for us to be seated and it's not even packed in here. She then states the servers are the ones seating.. so she follows with theres two servers but with this attitude. I order my water for now.. cause now i dont know if I even want to stay. A little while later another woman comes to ask if we are ready to order. I told her I was just taking a sec to review the food. I decided I was gonna go ahead and I see the second lady who had came up to take our order pass by again I'm waving her down she walking empty handed right in front of me, ma'am , ma'am excuse me I wave and I raise my voice a little bit shes not trying to look at me.I let her know Hi! I'm ready to place my order and she just shrugs "ok.." then walked away. She went to a table behind us to ask if they needed anything at that point I had enough. This place has become too ratchet too unprofessional i dont know what happened Grapevine Mills used to be something different.
