Unfortunately, Ferrari's has gone the way of the Dodo Bird regarding it's functional capacity to effectively manage FOH and BOH on a moderately busy, but very manageable NYE: Upon calling to make a reservation, the restaurant felt compelled to disclose that a $25 per-person-fee will be charged to the credit card of the guest if the party is a "no-show". This seems a bit archaic, albeit fair...given the flaky-nature of customers as of late. However, the restaurant did not feel it was equally appropriate to disclose that they would be operating on a VERY limited menu for the evening (this would have influenced my decision on Ferrari's as a NYE choice...had I been made aware). Our party of four (4) was sat at what could only be described as "The Kid's Table" as we initially were forced to strategically place arms tucked inward like a Praying Mantis. Once the issue was communicated to the server, we were moved to an appropriate ADULT table (not without initial pushback from the server). I was required to move plates, napkins and silverware to the new table as the FOH/floor manager seemed dismayed at my request. Server made sporadic appearances; allowing glasses to empty, dirty plates to linger and overall service to suffer. This may be acceptable at Chili's and Applebee's; however, when a restaurant raises menu prices 20% across the menu for NYE, over their normal price points, and the PPA (Per Person Average) for our table was north of $70; there are heightened expectations. Note to Ferrari's: If you are going to charge $58 for a 16oz bone-in Ribeye, there should be a grade classification of the beef on the menu. The Ribeye served on NYE appeared to be a Select-Grade cut at best and the cut was not frenched (normal practice for fine dining). This is a product that could have easily been acquired at Outback Steakhouse for half the price. Sides being offered were abysmal and lacking any effort by the chef and the BOH team. Fried potatoes were a joke at best.

*This practice occurs when a server does not use seat numbers so food runners can place correct dishes at correct seats without calling out the entree and waiting for a response from the appropriate guest. Seat number documentation by the server during order-taking is a basic necessity for fine dining (a...

The customer service was very poor, the hostess acted as though she didn’t want to be there and was helping the waiter with drink orders. There was 14 of us, she was getting drinks for 3 people at a time instead of just grabbing a notepad and writing everyone’s order down, she seemed confused the entire time. The waiter Arturo came to take our orders, he didn’t explain to us that salads (very small) were an addt’l $6 he made it seem like it was included in the meal. Our meals comes out and they are very small portions compared to other nice places we have gone to, we had to remind them of everything (refills, Parmesan, silverware). We didn’t want to make a big deal and were ready to be out of there that we didn’t even bring up that one of the dishes had pieces of chicken in it, and for religious purposes we cannot eat that. We asked for extra Alfredo sauce and it was like he didn’t want to bring it to us because he kept saying it’s going to take a while because we make everything from scratch, he literally brought it out no longer than 2 minutes later. Finally, we ask for the check as we would all be paying separately, Arturo told us that the tickets could not be separated and it had to be paid in one ticket, which was insane! He said that we would have to do the math and then we can tell him how much to charge on each card, he proceeded with taking two cards at a time which again took forever! He proceeded to tell us that he had a table of 15 earlier and he did the same thing to them (we don’t care about previous clients, and it shouldn’t have been an argument) and said that in the future we should tell them at the beginning that we will be paying separate “well isn’t this what they should ask us?” The next day we call to just provide feedback, this is when we found out Arturo (waiter) is the general manager and while explaining what all went wrong he got defensive and hung up on us! Highly DO NOT recommend this place, their lack of service is unbelievable and their food was not great...
Read moreMy first time eating at this restaurant and last. I attended a birthday party here tonight 7/30/16 and ordered off of the party menu which did not include the price and maybe this is how the party menu is suppose to be but we were not told the cost that we would be charged for attending a birthday dinner. I can definitely afford the price but I expect to get what I pay for in the meal. 1st issue i ordered the lasagna and it was horrible! I have never tasted lasagna like this and I have eaten at a few authentic Italian restaurants. Another attendee ordered spaghetti and meatballs. She was disgusted by the mearestaurantsShe pushed her plate away and didn't eat. 2nd issue. My daughter attended the party as well but did not eat and told the waiter ahead of time that she had come from another dinner and would not be eating. He brought out a salad and dessert anyway. She did not eat either but they brought her a check for the uneaten meal. She informed the new waiter (female waitress) that she didn't eat and explained the situation. The female waitress was apparently upset and slammed the ticket on the table and walked off. When she returned we each had a bill for 29.99 plus a written in 25% gratuity fee not by us but written in by the wait staff. I will never go to this establishment again. The customer service was very unprofessional and the price was outrageous for the disgusting food we ate. I am certain that I can get a better lasagna from Stouffers. Please do not book any event unless u get a clear understanding of how your guest will be treated and make sure they explain the 25% written in gratuity fee. I'm not sure if this is correct or not but I normally pay 15% and pay more if i receive great service. I was not given that choice. I'm not sure if this fee was them trying to get the salad and dessert paid eventhough it was not consumed and explained that the meal would...
