The Library Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Grapevine

One of the previous images posted from another reviewer shows a standalone building. It’s in a hotel now. Don’t let that stop you tho. Our food was wonderful and we will be coming back. I had the pot roast (hard to find that offered anywhere, at least in my experience) and it was very good. My wife had the ribeye and she very much liked her choice as well. Our server seemed to be running the whole restaurant including the bar. Nothing was late in arriving. Oh, the Bloody Mary was also very good. She was VERY professional, always checked on us and did refills at the right time and was friendly to customers. It seemed a bit dark in the restaurant. Not a problem really, just noticed. This is in the Marriott Hotel. We were looking for a quick real restaurant, which in the area is hard to come by having spent the day at Legoland at grapevine Mills Mall. The library bar was one of the only places that we saw that offered cheeseburgers and a number of other items without everything being deep fried. The Cocktails were so good! Very well hand crafted and beautiful to look at. The service took quite awhile to order and receive our drinks and get our order of food in. Perhaps they were busy or not enough servers on staff. I ordered two cocktails and their Cauliflower Salad. The Cauliflower salad was heavy with turmeric but had a kick of spice. Different but not terrible. I would love to order one of their Flatbread next time, they looked amazing! This place has a great local vibe. Small but good seating...
