Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Gray

For starters, I could see inside at the window and oh my gosh it was so disgusting. There was food all over the counters all over the floor…I worked in fast food and I worked in fine dining and they should definitely have somebody that can just go around and clean up and sweep up because it looked Extremely unappealing. Secondly, that was the most disgusting and poor excuse for a banana split I have ever seen in my life LOL my banana was brown for starters and old. I don’t know if they just found a box of banana bananas that was sitting off to the side or what but who likes to eat brown bananas I don’! . The pineapple was hard and sour yes that’s right it was sour and they had poured a bunch of pineapple juice in the banana split making it a watery mess and there was like a tiny bit of chocolate. I was having to hunt for chocolate and there really wasn’t any because it all got watered down, and it was smothered t in whipped cream, , to where you couldn’t even see the banana split. I guess it was to hide the banana. Customer service wasn’t great either. The lady taking the order did not repeat the order and I didn’t even know if she heard me so after I gave her my order I sat there waiting on her to say something and she finally just asked “ is that all”.. didn’t say thank you or come again. Just handed me my stuff and closed the window. I don’t normally write too many reviews but lately I think it is necessary because Area of Johnson City Gray actually just the trust cities altogether seems to really be lacking and Customer Service everywhere you go. I'd have to say to anyone and everyone DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want to get sick. We were in the drive thru getting take out and all the sudden some kid opens the back door runs to their outside freezer, grabs a stack of opened not covered raw frozen burger patties mind you he did not have gloves on and the patties were leaning on his own non-uniform personal clothing. Yuck! He ran back in with the stack of raw uncovered and unpacked burgers for like 3 minutes then we see him come running outside again and does it again with I'd say about a stack of 10-15 raw unpacked uncovered burgers each time. I am like what the heck!!! That is the most unsanitary thing I've seen a restaurant do in a long time. We pulled up to the drive thru window I asked to speak with the manager I told her all that we saw and she told me that she would go throw all the burgers away. I have say I hope she does more than that! I will never eat there again and I will tell everyone to do the same. I think someone should call the board of health and investigate their sanitary practices and see if they all (managers included) follow health guidelines to keep our community clean and healthy. I usually have no problem here but tonight imparticular really frustrated me. When we drove up everything we tried to order they said they was out of. It wouldnt have been bad if it was 1 or 2 items but atleast 6 items we asked for they said they was out of. We finally found something they had, i ordered a hotdog with chilli and cheese and had to get fries because they was out of cheese curds. They was also out of almost every blizzard flavor. When I got my food it was thrown in the bag the fries was all in the bag and the chilli and cheese hot dog was all over the box they put it in. They gave me zero napkins and I couldnt eat the hotdog without dripping or getting it all over me or my vehicle. The chilli and cheese wasnt even on the hot dog it was all over everything but the hot dog.Very bad experience and ive never has a issue until tonight and it seemed as if they wasnt prepared or cared for quality of service very frustrating.
