Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Johnson City

The Gray, TN, Pizza Hut, which is drive-thru only, is terrible. Every time I order from there, there is something wrong. I have abstained from stating my dissatisfaction until now, but enough is enough. Evidently the staff there cannot read. I always order online and in the "special instructions box," I put "well done, please." Not only is it never well-done, but it's never even anywhere close to being done at all. The vegetables on the pizza I picked up tonight were not done whatsoever. They were still crunchy as if they hadn't been cooked at all. The pepperonis were floppy as they had not been cooked as well. I ordered a thin-n-crispy, well-done pizza and what we got was a cold, nowhere-near-done, very-floppy-crust pizza. The website said ready in 15 minutes and I was there right at the 15-minute mark and the pizza was cold. That pizza was not even warm enough to had been in the oven long enough to get the toppings and crust done and certainly not long enough to be well-done. This is the case every single time. In addition to that, there were 6 dressings to choose from online. When I get there to pick up, the guy informs me they only have 2 dressings, neither of which either one of us like. I asked the guy if he could just take the salads off my bill and credit back my credit card and he had no clue how to do that. Extremely disappointing, especially when it happens time and time again. And the one on Stewball Circle in Kingsport, TN, is no better. They're always out of multiple items and the salad bar is always nasty. Brown, wilted lettuce, soggy, floppy cucumbers and tomatoes that are disgusting. The staff there is also very rude and acts like you're inconveniencing them when there are only 2 other people in the restsurant. Pizza Hut is and always has been my favorite pizza, but if you can't do any better than that, might as well close the doors permanently like you've already done with...

This is the worst Pizza Hut I have ever ordered from. I've lived in the Tri-Cities for 15 years and have lived close to this Pizza Hut 3 different times over those years (2005, 2014, and now). It's been terrible the whole time. The service used to be tolerable when you could call and speak to the store to place your order, but now you can't do that. So, when your order is wrong, their response is, "Oh well. Too bad." I have NEVER seen a Pizza Hut drive through move so slowly. The other Pizza Huts I have ordered from (Allandale, Stewball Circle, and the new one on North Roan all send people whose order is not ready yet, back around to the end of the line. Not here. They allow people to just sit at the window. Just sit and sit and sit. Sadly, delivery is not a viable option, either. The average wait for delivery, now, is 60-90 mins. AND the food is mediocre at best. It's just a terrible experience, all around. I LOVE Pizza Hut. But now I will have to drive a punitive distance to get it......

I made my order by phone for delivery and prepaid for it . After an hour of waiting I tried to call. I was routed to someone who could barley speak English and told he would transfer my call to the store. After I was transferred I was on hold over 40 minutes on multiple lines with the same wait time. I finally drove to the store to ask about my order where I was told that their computer said it was already delivered. I told him it absolutely was not and he acted as if I was lying , I had to produce my phone log, and I asked for a refund to which he did not want to give me. Told me I could make another order and wait and pay for another order! After a long argument he finally refunded my money but it shouldn’t be this difficult! I was also given the regional manager phone number but of course, no answer there either ! Do not waste your time or money on this place! There’s better pizza in Johnson City.
