So, earlier in the year, a friend and I tried teriyaki madness and were extremely disappointed and even angry with the service and the food. We came in close to closing, I know I am a server too, but still had a half an hour. We were not greeted but instead told right off the bat they were closing, just so you know, they said. And not all of the foods on the menu were going to be available, as it was so close to closing, they would not be making any new, and there wasnt much left. WOW!! The kid at the till proceeded to take my friends order, very curt and short, and cashed her out. He then ignored me, and acted as tho they were closed and her order was the last one of the night. Even tho we came in together and were clearly having dinner together. I said, excuse me, may I order too please? He acted surprised as tho I just popped up out of thin air, although I had been standing there the whole time and he knew it. We got our food and it had over cooked dry meat, mushy singed veggies and oily oily rice. Horrible. Old. Food. We took it to go because we weren't sure if we would be kicked out at close anyways, with the way things were going. We would not be going back. Ever!!
Well a friend told us to try again after I told her the story, and very reluctantly, we tried again. And much to our suprise.... the service was amazing, the food awesome and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely go again. We love the containers. I'm glad that things...
Read moreThis business model is fool proof. Food is excellent, portions sizes are also very good, if this franchise was owned and operated by any other people I would give them 5 Stars. Every single time we call in an order they say 25-30 minutes and without fail, every single time, it would appear that they do not start the order until you show up in person. We are ALWAYS forced to stand in there for the complete wait time, starting when you walk in. Calling ahead does no good and whatsoever. I do not enjoy giving a poor reviews but i wrote this, proof read, corrected and read it while I stood here. Staff was awesome and super friendly and they are 5 star, i just feel like the owners are afraid of no-show orders. It does not appear busy so i felt I must leave an honest and unbiased statement (apologies for wordiness). I do believe I am very frustrated because it happens every single time, for years. But like I said, food is pretty damn good, so ill suffer the poor effort, ownership obviously puts forth, in respect to the little details that make successful businesses reach actual potential. That is the Great Falls way - low hanging fruit is...
Read moreI've now eaten twice here. The 1st time was not too long after they opened. I got the good old teryaki chicken on noodles and stir fry veggies (large $12). Chicken good, stir fry good, noodles blahhh. Thought not worth the price.
I had received a Have a Bowl on us coupon at the hockey game. Figured i'd do that and buy my coworker lunch while I was at it. I've never had Chicken Katsu, so figured Id give it a shot. Went in today and the wait staff was friendly "as expected". The panko crusted chicken was good. I didnt know what to expect on the Katsu sauce. Reminded me of Heinz 57. Not saying thats a bad thing. Again the noodles were just blahhhh. According to the menu on Teriyaki Madness website its supposed to have vegetables. I wasnt asked what kind I wanted and didnt think about it when I ordered. Order was to go. Low and behold no vegetables so overall dish was basically dry. Again I got larges and even though one was nearly "free / came with hockey program" paid a little to upgrade to large + a purchased one. Again no where near the value vs price.
I had really hoped things had improved (since teryaki kitchen had to...
